Review: LARRY DAVID is nuts. He is also fun to watch, as is his HBO series, CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM. If you like SEINFELD, you'll love this show about the exploits of DAVID (who portrays himself with comic glee), which usually amounts to, well, nothing. It took me a couple of episodes to warm up to CURB, due to it's edgier, dryer humor and off kilter characters. Now I'm hooked- definitely the best comedy show on television. Season one is a great introduction to LARRY's world and they just get funnier from there. A truly great sit-com to have on DVD because repeated viewings are required for added laughter. A must have.

Summary: Love Him, Hate Him? Probably both
Review: When this show first came on HBO, I refused to watch it. Just hearing it was from the creators of Seinfeld was enough for me not to watch it. I detest Jerry Seinfeld to no end. He is unfunny and an incredible bore. Everyone I know loved the Seinfeld show but me. I eventually saw an episode of Curb, then a few more. OK, but not impressed. He is definately an acquired taste. Then came the episode where Larry has the fetish. I have been hooked ever since. The show keeps getting better and better. Hail Larry David!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review: What is it with HBO? They have refused to release this title in a timely manner. Why can't they get it out before the hollidays? I have sent e-mails to HBO about this and at first they were slow to reply and now they dont reply at all. Where's the 2nd and 3rd season? Why is HBO so slow on releasing comic genius? Does their management really not care about it's Curb fans? Why am I still waiting for this DVD? Can't Larry do something about it. Review: The first season of Curb was terrific. The second and third were even better. Like Seinfeld, the supporting characters are hilarious and memorable. Also like Seinfeld, there are often several very funny strands that run together in the better episodes. That makes it especially fun to watch more than once, as you don't always remember how everything fit together.The show is edgier and more cutting than Seinfeld. To many, this is part of its charm, but others find it off putting and uncomfortable to watch. David is not afraid to take chances and occasionally miss, yet the show is still consistently fresh and funny. The show began with a small cult following, but has become an "in" show that more and more people are watching. Not everyone likes Curb, but to those of us that do, no show is funnier.

Review: Larry David has established himself as the best comedy writer of all time. Seinfeld's greatness speaks for itself, but this show takes his writing to a whole new level. With brilliantly improvised acting by David and company, hilarious plot situations, and splendid directing, this first season (along with the 2nd and 3rd) proves this show to be a classic. Most episodes have Larry getting the short end of the stick, but that's just the way life is sometimes. I cannot wait to see what happens in the upcoming 4th season. These episodes will change your outlook on life.

Summary: Where the heck are Seinfeld DVDs?
Review: Larry David is getting his OWN SHOW released on DVD? His show barely hit the airwaves! ... There seems to be a little known show called SEINFELD which over 30000 people have been waiting FOREVER to be released on DVD. I find it shocking that David would rather promote his own series (which many fans of Seinfeld don't care about) rather than releasing the show that fans have been crying for since 1998 and which he helped co-create. He should stop fantasizing of what "kind of $" he could make with his own show and realize the millions he could be making with Seinfeld DVDs. On behalf of 30000+ fans: When the heck will we ever see Seinfeld episodes on DVD?!?

Review: i am so glad that this show is on dvd but what in the world took hbo so long to release this??? this is the funniest show on tv and hbo needs to take advantage of that, shame on hbo for being so stupid and waiting 5 years to release the first season. Who is running that station??? But cant wait for this dvd!!!
