Summary: An emotional finale
Review: I felt that this movie was an appropriate and emotionally intense conclusion to one of the most sucessful live-action superhero television series of all time. Although some of the plot devices and story elements were decidedly corny, this was in keeping with the nature of the series, and therefore I do not feel it detracted from the film. In the meantime, the events leading up to David Banner's death were compelling and added a strong sense of tragedy to counterpoint the sense of liberation that David expressed with his final words. Finally, the closing sequence (particularly the final song, which segues into a particularly haunting rendition of 'Lonely Man', the closing theme to the television show) I found to be particularly moving and powerful, and it closed a fantastic voyage into contemporary fantasy with a poignent and much-deserved farewell.

Review: I had the opportunity to check out a review copy of this DVD recently.
With the "Hulk" about to storm movie theaters in a big screen adaptation of the popular comic strip character, the adventures from the highly successful 1970s television series "The Incredible Hulk" have begun to appear on DVD. This 1990 movie, the final time that star Bill Bixby would appear onscreen with Lou Ferrigno, continues the quest of main character Dr. David Banner to rid himself of the green mutation that takes over whenever his survival is threatened.
The movie begins with Banner working as a janitor at a top secret government research lab. The scientist in charge of the research at the lab is conducting some of the same radiation experiments that led Banner to his original predicament many years before. Someone is breaking into the lab late at night and working on the experiments, helping the scientist. The scientist is shocked to discover Banner - whom he took to be a low level sanitation technician - is the one aiding in his research and, after learning of his plight, decides to help him rid himself of the monster inside.
It is here that the movie takes an unfortunate tangent. Some unidentified group - they act, look and sound like the KGB - learns of the research being conducted at the lab and decides to steal it, using one of their top female agents to infiltrate the complex and steal the papers.
Making her entrance into the lab at a critical point in the procedure to cure Banner a fire is started and the Hulk emerges, leading Banner on an inexorable course of action that will ultimately force him to choose between life and death and love and survival.
Being a television production the picture quality on this DVD is extremely limited and it seems to be merely an extended episode of the television series. We have the same cheesy green monster make-up and the trademark slow motion sequences of the Hulk breaking through brick walls, crashing down doors and even altering the course of a private jet.
The audio is merely serviceable at best and the haunting, memorable theme music, that would play over the final credits of the televsion show, is saved until the final sad moments.
The only extra features on this DVD is a "Fox Flix" section which includes trailers for "Daredevil", "X-Men, "X-2" and the 2001 remake of "Planet of the Apes". No TV spots for the main feature are included and no cast or crew bios - both would have been welcome additions.
In the end, even given its low retail price, this is really only a DVD for fans of the original series. With test audiences apparently giving the upcoming feature film poor marks, perhaps this summers box office will deliver the ultimate blow to the venerable franchise - the final death of the incredible Hulk.

Summary: A beautiful story, but with a very sad ending
Review: I have been an Incredible Hulk fan since I was two years old! Yeah! Now at twenty-one, Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno still fascinate me. I watch this movie over and over again. The first time I saw it, I cried at the end. It turns out to be a love story, and David Banner evenutally finds his long awaited freedom. END

Summary: Another excellent movie, from an admitted TV Hulk fan.
Review: I just watched the series premier, then 'The Death of' pretty much back to back. This movie was full of raw emotion, another great story. Dr. Banner has another love interest, and that subplot was still far from cliche. Awesome how Dr. Banner refers to his old work---The ficitonal portion of the movie takes the viewer back both in fiction and in real life to the original series. So reflective. So powerfully emotional. Kudos to the awesome creative people that worked on and acted in these films.If one wanted to get nit picky-the science is not thoroughly explained. Today, movie makers go to elaborate lengths to describe science, even in fictional universes, aka Star Trek. Doesn't bother me, as the human side of these movies alone is overwhelming. This movie had good subplots, and had a great dose of modern espionage / action-thriller. I enjoyed it very much.

Summary: Excelent Taste
Review: I only saw this movie 2 times on regular tv and this was a very good tv show, Lou Ferrigno was just simply Awesome and HUge.. I only saw this movie 2 times and they never showed it again on tv and I really like The Incredible Hulk. Lou ferrigno, busting through the walls was awesome. I want the VHS tape, I got to have it, I hope you get one in very soon.. The Incredible Hulk is one of my favorite super heroes. so people This is a very good movie.. so Buy it people, if you are a fan of The Incredible Hulk busting through the walls, get this tape The sad part is The Incredible Hulk Dies in this movie and only one person knew his secret. I'm not gonna tell you how The Incredible Died, you have to get the VHS tape to find out for yourself.

Summary: The incredible Hulk will never die!
Review: I saw the death of the hulk in 1990, and I had to buy the video. The movie had the excitment of the early days, and it kept you interested until the end. The only problem is that Hulk can not die from falling from a plane he is much too strong, and he could have sustain injuries. It still was a good movie to a great show.
