Summary: sesame street Christmas
Review: This movie is a family favorite. It can be watched over and over again. The songs are wonderful and the story is both touching and fun. My family watches this every year as a family tradition. Hope your family does, too! We now pass it on to younger cousins and friends as a tried-and-true favorite Christmas gift.

Summary: Christmas Eve on Sesame Street
Review: This movie is a great movie for all the ages I remember when I was little watching it and I even watched it in July. It answers the time old question of how does Santa Claus get down the chimney. It gives you a real reason to get excited about Santa Comming and puts you in the Christmas mood and keeps the spirt of Christmas Alive!

Summary: Christmas Memories For Everyone
Review: This simple program of music, song, and puppets spreads the message that Christmas with roaring fireplaces, fifty foot trees, and mountains of presents isn't the norm for everybody. As a kid in a borough of NYC, I knew that Santa didn't have a slanted roof to land gently on. Instead he had to navigate through T.V. antennas, skinny chimneys and slushy snow. Christmas Eve on Sesame Street adressed the concerns of every city kid who anxiously waited for Santa's arrival on Christmas Eve. The message of warmth, family and good friends is something for every kid aged 2 to 92!

Summary: This rocked
Review: Unlike the "wanna-be-hip" mindset so present in the new Sesame Street, this is classic Sesame Street at its finest and it entertains children of all ages.

I remember seeing this when it was still pretty new, and fell in love with it ever since.Big Bird decides to find out how Santa comes down the chimney and (befitting the urban angle which was the original intention of the show) how he will get down the apartment buildings that are clearly without the fireplaces found in the suburbs or luxury apartments.

The suspense created by Big Bird's quest is intriguing enough for older viewers without being scary for younger children (who would otherwise worry about Santa's well being)and really needs to be shown every christmas.

Summary: One of the best ever!
Review: When Big Bird expresses his excitement over the upcoming Christmas Eve visit from Santa, Oscar plants a seed of doubt in his head by asking, "How do you think Santa can get down all those chimneys in one night?" This sends Big Bird and the rest of the gang on a quest to find the answers. Coupled with separate stories about the Sesame Street friends sharing holiday warmth and love, this is one of the best Christmas stories ever.

Told with the gentle humor that only Sesame Street can pull off, Christmas Eve on Sesame Street is a classic that all kids and adults will enjoy. Some younger kids may wonder where their favorite muppet and adult characters are since this movie is quite old (the Amazon tape was released in '90, but the movie itself is from the 70s), but they will probably still love the fun and fantasy created.

One of the best Christmas tales ever, full of heart and a lesson about love.

Summary: My favorite Christmas video
Review: When I was young, this wonderful Christmas special was played every year on TV on Christmas Eve day. However, the past two years it was replaced with various specials featuring "hipper" animated characters, and I couldn't find it. I was shocked to even learn it was still being sold, and very excited!

If you or your children have ever watched Sesame Street, this video is a MUST OWN. Although it doesn't feature the newer characters, there is plenty of Bert, Ernie, Big Bird, Oscar, Cookie Monster, and of course all the people in the cast that I was familiar with as a young child. This video makes me laugh to this day! It features a variety of charming and funny scenes, and keeps you involved from the very beginning when the whole Sesame Street gang goes ice skating.

This video, although great for kids, will make you laugh along with them as you watch it!
