Summary: a wonderful movie
Review: This is a great movie, for everyone, not just kids. I'm fifteen years old and I still love it! There are lines across the tape I've watched it so many times. Whenever I'm depressed I pop Follow that Bird into the vcr and sing along to "there ain't no mountain you can't climb" Even the credits are amusing with Count von Count in the corner counting names. BUY THIS MOVIE you will love it!

Review: This is a great movie, involving everyone's favorite 8 foot tall bird. The storyline deals with Big Bird being sent off by a foster parent company to be with his "own kind". Of course, he does not like it there, and runs away. That's when the fun starts. Great songs and great scenes liven up this excellent piece of family entertainment. END

Review: This is another Awesome Movie that was done by the Great Jim Henson who also brought us the great creations like the Muppet's, The Dark Crystal. They don't make movie's like this anymore. It definately makes you think about how much we have that we just sometimes don't know about.

Review: this is the best movie from my childhood. you got great music (the main reason why I got into country) and a great plot. the parts with oscar at the resterant was great. I only wish I could find this video in my 100's of movies so my children could watch it too.

Review: This movie is a great film/book. The songs are great and the story is great. My favorite character in the story is Miss Finch. She is so hilarious. It's a story about our favorite BIG Bird. He sure goes through alot of trouble from beginning to end. Your kids will love the funny T.V's Sesame street characters. Big Bird gets sent to a family of wacky birds named the DoDos. Well, that's all I can really say without ruining the story. Better buy it today. Your kids will love it, as well as you will. END

Summary: Follow that Bird
Review: This movie is in my top five list. Even though I am nineteen years old, I still love it a lot. It is great for kids, but adults will DEFINITELY enjoy it also. You will laugh (when oscar takes maria to the "don't drop inn", and cry (when big bird is painted blue in the circus) and sing to all the songs. IT'S AWESOME!

Summary: One of my favorite childhood movies!
Review: This movie is only a couple of years older than me, but so what! I used to have a really old VHS of this movie, many years ago. The picture quality was so grainy and the sound was unbearable! But the other day, when I saw this DVD at [local store] for [$], I did not hesitate on buying this. I just watched it today. The DVD quality is amazing. The picture is still a little grainy but the colors are sharp and bright and the sound quality (even though it's in Dolby Surround Stereo), was an awesome comparison to the VHS copy. Warner Home Video didn't add many features but what adult or teenager will play any games. The two features on here include a pretty cool feature if you just liked the songs is a "Jump to a Song" feature that shows you a menu with all 7 songs from the movie. The other is the original theatrical trailer that shows it's age. There are a couple of negatives on this DVD like it's not in 5.1 audio and the second is that it's presented in Full-Frame and not an anamorphic widescreen presentation. It would have been nice to see some more stuff that was on the edges. Plus look out for Elmo at the end of the movie when Big Bird comes home, he's one of the characters peeking out of the window! Great DVD for fans of the series! RATED G (what else would it be rated?!) This movie is way better than the poorly made "Elmo In Grouchland" because "FTB" is THE only SESAME STREET movie that'll be in my collection for a while. Buy now at the low price on amazon!

Review: THIS MOVIE IS REALLY GREAT! I REMEMBER WHEN I WAS 6 WATCHING THIS AND CRYING BECAUSE THEY HAD TURNED BIG BIRD BLUE! I REALLY LOVE THIS MOVIE!HOWEVER THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER BONUS STUFF ON THE DVD. THE DVD IS VERY PLAIN AND KINDA BORING. I SAY STICK THE THE VHS! IT IS CHEAPER AND LOOKS THE SAME! THANX! :)

Review: When I was a child, my parents rented this movie for my brother and I. We ended up loving it so much that my parents bought it for our Beta player (remember those?). Even today, as a married woman, I love this movie. The theme still rings true today--you don't need to be with your "own kind" to be loved and accepted. If you're a parent and considering buying this movie, please do--you won't be disappointed. The songs are catchy (I promise you, you'll be singing them in the shower), the puppets are funny, and the actors are wonderful. Buy this movie today. :)
