Summary: My baby niece loves it!
Review: My niece is 16 months old and this is her favorite DVD. If you have a young child (6 months-10 years), or take care of a child, who likes music, this is the DVD for you. A lot of the other DVDs don't play enough of the songs and go more into story. This one, though, has a combination of new, modern music, as well as the good-old stuff from the 1970s. WARNING!! 1) your child will not let you watch any other DVDs, and 2) you won't be able to get the "batty" song out of your head.

Summary: 25 Years On Sesame Street (1994)
Review: Parents,
This is the big 25. My 8 year old loves Cookie Monster and I tried to find a video tape that includes him. clap as Cookie Monster Croons C Is For Cookie, tap along as Grover Sings Fuzzy and Blue A Monster In The Mirror. Sesame Street has got very far.

Summary: A 60 MIn. SS Video!
Review: This is a very colorful and fun video with old and new songs. My 14 month old watches it! Along with a 15 and 18 month old I babysit. The best part is that it's 60 minutes long! And I can get 60 minute worth of housework done!

Summary: Great Entertainment
Review: This was the first DVD that my son started to watch. It really is great. The songs are catchy and are presented in a lively and colorful manner. Just love "The Count's" Batty Batty bat song. I was really surprized that a children's video could be so enjoyable. My son started watching this about 6 months ago and he will usually still sit through the entire show without getting bored. It features music, counting and the alphabet so is good educationally as well. This was a worthwhile purchase, my son does not watch much t.v. but this is one of the few shows I don't mind him watching.

Summary: All Time Favorite - A Must Own for Parents
Review: We bought this for our daughter when she was about 11 months and it quickly became her and my favorite. A year later and she still digs it. If you grew up with Sesame Street you'll love it too. More than a few classic tunes and sketches from yesteryear. Only a few Elmo ones though in case you also have an Elmo-obsessive child. Buy the DVD if that's an option because of the repeat viewing factor and because sometimes you just want to quickly cue to a favorite segment. This is one DVD where you'll feel you got your money's worth and it won't drive you crazy after watching it for the 100th time but you will be singing "Rubber Ducky, You're the One" right along with Ernie and maybe at random times throughout the day. But hey, it's a catchy song.

Summary: Just great
Review: My 14 month old twins are mesmerized by this tape, and actually seek out toys with bells or rattles so that they can dance and shake to the music. Although they are big elmo fans, I think this tape keeps them happier longer, and I can say that I enjoy it a lot more too! This has most of the songs that are on the cd of sesame street platinum with some extras. Really hard to complain about this one!

Summary: Great Movie
Review: I have two children a 14 month year old and a 7 year old and they both think that this movie is great. My little one watches this during the morning, so I can shower and make breakfast. This movie has been fun for the children and a lifesaver for me.

Summary: what a shame
Review: ...to put on a DVD the same quality than a (bad quality) video tape: the sound is average, the pictures too, and there is absolutely NO extra DVD features !
On top of it, the story is slow, and the songs are just average, a pity that the good ones are of course at the end... I have wasted money to buy that one, and of course my 21-month old daughter finds it boring.
Invest your money in the Elmo in Grouchland story, which is much much better.

Summary: Exellent overview of the first 25 years
Review: This was a special that origonally aired on tv when sesame stree turned 25. It has been edited since then and even those these spots are missed this video still shows how great sesame street was and still is. It features some of the most famous skits and songs. It even shows a little history of the show. This is a exellent video for kids and adults a like but it really doesn't discuss the origons of sesame street. If u r intrested in this I suggest the recent biography that was just made.

Summary: This one has it all!
Review: Although there are not many Sesame Street DVD's available, this one is a compilation of most of the great songs and skits from the last 25 years. I would highly recommend parents add this one to their library collection for kids. My toddler LOVES it!!! It even has some scenes from when I was a kid. Also, because it is a continuous medly of songs it easily holds the attention of young kids.
