Review: I picked up this DVD because I wanted something new for my dvd collection and it [wasn't too expensive]. I have watched the Osbournes before and laughed out loud many times. Ozzy trying to work the remote is my favorite. but this DVD was average. There was nothing really interesting for extras. The extra scenes were boring the interviews were boring and the "dookie" game was just "dookie". The Commentary track is ok it is done by Jack and Sharon Osbourne plus the other audio tracks allow you to watch the show with the bleeps (funnier in my opinion) Only buy it if you REALLY liked the show ( I didn't) or a big fan of Ozzy (i am not)

Summary: Nothing Like Good 'Ol Family Values
Review: Oh boy. There goes the neighborhood...I really do not care for MTV these days. If they played actual music videos like they did in the old days (was it that long ago?), maybe I'd watch more. However, whenever "The Osbournes" are on, I find myself glued to the TV. Well, now the entire first season is yours to own on DVD. **NOTE: Do NOT get the "censored version." I know people like the bleeps, but there is an option on the DVD that allows you to listen to it censored if you like. So, now you have the chance to hear them both! So go with the "uncensored version" if you want the best buy.** There's no real storyline, there's no cute little set-up, and there's no "phony characters" to mix things up. This is as real as it gets. Everything you thought Ozzy's life would be is the EXACT opposite. He's stuck in hell and his family is the main reason. With a house full of various animals, a son and daughter who fight on a daily basis, and a wife who seems to be the only one who knows how to run things, "The Osbournes" is an unpredictable show with surprises around every corner. But as dysfunctional and weird this family seems, there is love... or at least I think there is... The complete first season is a success in my eyes. Every single episode is classic and you'll want to watch them over and over again. If you're having a bad day, you just have to pop this in and you will feel so much better as you laugh along with this whacky family. Each episode has a very high replay level and you're bound to catch something new that you missed the first time around. This DVD set is fantastic. I was surprised to learn that you can watch it CENSORED if you like. I know people are torn on whether to get this uncensored one or the censored version, but now that decision won't be hard to make. Go with the "uncensored version" since you get the choice of either watching it with the bleeps or without. (I actually think it's funnier to hear them swear without the bleeps. Hearing Sharon say the "mother-f" word is priceless! Extra features included are: commentary, language censoring option for each episode, season highlights, edit a scene, new interviews, additional footage, and so much more. Lots of goodies for you to explore. "The Osbournes: The Complete First Season Uncensored" is a fantastic DVD set that has a very high replay level. I've already watched all of the episodes at least five times already. I was very pleased with how the DVD was done and glad that they did the show justice. If you love the show, don't pass this DVD collection for a second. A very worthy purchase, indeed.

Summary: A Real Family
Review: This DVD is tight and Ozzy rocks. The only thing I didnt really like about this season was Jck and Kelly always fighting but its really awasome and I wish I had parents like Ozzy and Sharon. But this DVD is good if u like to see a real family in action and I cant wait for the 3rd season to come out soon on MTV.

Summary: Good but...
Review: I'm a fan of the Osbournes first season and the DVD is decent but there are a number of highly annoying things. First of all, the audio may be uncensored but the video remains censored. You will not see middle fingers extended, Ozzy's [behind], corporate logos, etc. The Ozzy Translator feature is a great idea but poorly executed. I noticed several instances where the translated text was simply wrong or missing words. The translated text includes stupid monochrome graphics that have no value and are distracting, and the offensive words appear in an outlined font that makes them hard to read on screen. The bonus footage is largely unentertaining with the possible exception of the extra Loveline footage. The DVD includes the rather pointless ability to include the audio bleeps while viewing. The DVD "extras" are mostly uninteresting. The DVD is great if you want to watch the actual episodes over and over but don't buy this DVD for the "features."

Summary: One of the best DVD packages in awhile
Review: Even if you're not a huge fan of the Osbournes, and how could you not love Mrs. Osbourne. I hope everything works out and she gets her own chat show. She is an amazing woman. It was good to see the episode with the rude neighbors again. I wouldn't want to meet her in a dark alley! But even if you aren't a huge fan, you have to agree that the extras, and the layout of the DVDs, as far as the graphics, is one of the most creative I've ever seen. If you've seen the Jerry Maguire special edition DVD set, it kind of reminds you of that in some spots when navigating the different selections. My favorite is the screen for captioning, and we go to Kelly in her bedroom looking for a ringing cell phone. I can't even describe it. You'd have to see it for yourself. I am upset, however, that they left out the "lost four episodes" that I had been hearing about, but the bloopers alone make up for this. Between that and the commentary on the episodes. I'm not sure why episode 10 doesn't have commentary however. Another thing is the interview with Michael the security guard. I was expecting maybe a full length feature, but we only got about a minute of him talking about his mistaken idenity during his arrest. Those are my only (minor) complaints. Other than that, this is an excellent DVD. I'm dying to see if any "easter eggs" are found. Do you suppose the lost four episodes were cleverly hidden within the DVD somewhere? I wouldn't put it past Sharon!

Summary: Get the UNCENSORED VERSION!
Review: Everyone who is a fan knows this is a great show, I'm not gonna bore you with that. What I will tell you is that when the DVD came out in 2 versions, I wasnt sure which version to buy. I thought hearing all the bleeps is what made it so funny, and without them it would loose some of its appeall...WRONG! If you have the same questions...buy the uncencored version. It is even funnier w/out the bleeps!...oh, and take the time to listen to the commentary w/ Sharon and Jack, it is ... funny!!!

Summary: Excellent!!
Review: This is a must for all Osbourne fans. There is soooooo much bonus stuff and hilarious clips from the family. It's great. The game, Name that dookie is kind of silly, but who doesn't need silliness once in a while. The commentary by Sharon and Jack on each episode is so funny. Poor Sharon misses her cat! This truly shows the family in all their glory and truthfulness. A must buy for fans. The uncensored version also has an option to bleep the bad words in case anyone was wondering. Alot of times you can't understand what anyone says because of the bleeping noise, that's why I opted for the uncensored. Go Osbourne's!!

Summary: If you're a fan of the show, get this!
Review: Okay, first things first -- the DVDs allow you to enable the 'censor' beep, even in the 'Uncensored' DVD version; if you want the censored version, enable it. I wasn't a huge fan when the series started, but watching one of the Osbourne-marathons on MTV got me hooked. This is a two DVD set, with episodes 1-9 on Disc One, and episode 10 and the extras on Disc Two. As I mentioned above, you can enable or disable the censoring for each episode. It will remember which setting you enabled if you watch a couple of episodes at a time, so you don't have to go back and re-enable it in one sitting. It does default to off, though, so you will have to turn the censor back on if your DVD player was turned off. In addition to the Censor for each episode, there is an Ozzy-translator; great stuff. The extras include typical fare: access to 'restricted' websites, bloopers -- which I think are better than some of the episodes, and bios. I'm looking forward to the Season 2 set!!

Review: Well, I'm glad to say i got it. The Osbournes is my absolute favorite show. The family is just like any other family and yet people make such a fuss...I truly enjoy the fact that we see a family as dysfunctional as maybe our own, and how fun it really is to be that way. Jack and Kelly are exactly like me and my sister, and Sharon and Ozzy are in love as much as my parents are. It's very good TV and even better uncensored
