Summary: guilty pleasure of the month
Review: here it is folks! the guilty pleasure of the month & i'll probably barf after writing this so i hope someone somewhere will find this review remotely useful. as much as i would like, i can't hate this film & actually found it to be kinda fun in the tradition of a tv series like love boat or a seventies musical such as grease only much cheesier. again, a guilty pleasure in my book at best. i've read some reviewers say the outfits were gaudy. well, folks this is a different generation & styles consta change. just deal with it the best way you know how. the clothing we wore in the seventies, eighties, or nineties looks downright funny to them too. ok, back to the review as i'm getting away from myself here. i didn't really want to like this film as i personally hate american idol & can't sit through a single episode. HOWEVER, THIS ISN'T AMERICAN IDOL PRODUCTION & IS TOLERABLE OR FUN TO A CERTAIN DEGREE CONTRARY TO WHAT MANY WOULD BELIEVE OR SAY. let's face it, teeny-bopper pop culture will never win an oscar so why not just have fun & giggle every once in a while. what makes this film fun or atleast watchable? as anyone who has watched american idol or knows current music can vouch for, kelly & justin both are great vocalists no matter what genre of music we want to put them in & are tons better than most of the youngsters getting paid to make music these days. here you have this cute lil' story of love at first sight & everything that seems to keep two people apart will happen but a constant reminder that love prevails which is appealing to the mainstream audiences. in addition to that, you can watch this one with the entire family as there is no strong language nor sex & nudity unlike many of the films parading in the multiplex today. (however, parents may want to provide addition guidance while watching this one with the younger crowd as there is some sexual innuendo as one can expext with teen musicals lathough there nothing overtly explicit or graphic here.) if that doesn't do it for you, the beach scenery is beautifully photographed & makes you long for your next spring break or vacation. oh, one more thing. the extended version on this special edition is much better than the theatrical version. the extended version includes two deleted dance numbers which give the film a sense of wholeness so to speak & will remind viewers of musicals such as grease. happy viewings!!

Review: All I can say is, "The things that happen when you forget to pack your cyanide pill." This movie was quite possibly the worst movie ever made. The cast, along with the director and the producers should be hung for making this movie. I mean, who allowed for this movie to be made? I would also like to comment on the costumes for this movie. When was this movie made? 2003? Then why were they wearing clothes that weren't even cool in the 1960's? This movie was an abortion. My friend and I have a themed movie night that we call "Torture Theater." We found that this was an excellent choice for our monthly "Torture Theater" and believe me, we will never watch it again.

Summary: Only one star, 'cause that's the minimum...
Review: I didn't want to see this movie in the theatres, I've had enough of American Idol crammed down my throat. My daughter went however. And while there is nothing I can call objectionable enough to keep my daughter from watching, I'm glad sshe has her own T.V. and DVD dplayer in her room. I still ended up watching it, much to my dismay. While Kelly Clarkson is a very talented young lady, the costumer should be shot. The eye catching outfits she wears are so bad you can't even call them gaudy. The plot is 'el-lame-o', at least what there is of it. The choreography is pretty good, but the editting job makes the images so erratic and over-exagerated that it isn't worth watching. The only good thing to say about the acting is that it's really pathetic on the part of most of the actors in the movie. Seems like the director wanted to ride the American Idol wave before it broke so badly he sacrificed everything a decent movie should be. Overall, it stunk. And while my daughter likes it (I suppose you have to be 11 to enjoy this kind of bad), it leaves much to be desired for anyone over the age of twelve. If this director gets any more work, I'll be shocked.

Summary: One of the best movies I've seen for a long time
Review: so many people called this movie the worst movie of the year, which i think is not true at all. If any of you really appreciate real music, you will absolutly love the music in this movie. The dancing was fab as well! The writing of the script and the acting needed some work, but then again, I could say that for many movies that I'm sure a lot of you love. This movie was fun, energetic and exciting. I loved the story, even though it is no where close to being real, and I think that if you're looking for a good movie for a blockbuster night, this is a great one to get!

Summary: Musical or a actual movie??
Review: The movie is okay. I wouldn't say that this movie would like win emmies and awards. Maybe for musicals though. I don't really recommend this for ages 8-9 or under. Well the movie just has the whip cream bikini thing which was like uh not just for little kids ya know? And they kissing in some scenes. At least not a lot! But on top of that, it's an OKAY movie. Not the all time award winning movie like for example of PG kinda movies, Haunted Mansion, Freaky Friday, or Spy Kids. If I would say others, it would be PG-13! I think the reason why this movie is more of PG than PG-13 is because they sing more. I am soooo glad I rented this movie then buy it! Though I do love Kelly's voice.

Summary: Why, oh why did I rent this!!!
Review: Ok, I was walking through the Blockbuster when I came across "From Justin to Kelly". I said, "Hey, why not rent it. I would be good for a lark." Well, let me tell you this. It was horrible, there wasn't anything good about it. Bad writing, bad acting, even worse dancing and singing. On top of that, the plot is a million miles away. The plot is a spec, practically non-existant. Why would anyone want to make a movie with Kelly, who no one gets a riff about, and Justin. Besides, how did he make second on American Idol. The man just can't sing, or act, or anything else useful. So, if you're a human being with eyes and ears and you run across this movie, step away from the aisle and run away. Very far away.

Review: Music is great...Kelly's awesome!! Justin can't act or sing so God noly knows what he is doing in this movie and the SCRIPT IS DOWNRIGHT HORRIBLE!!! Some of the lines are so bad you have to stop and think, "Am I watching a daytime soap?" My hat goes off to Kelly Clarkson who saves this movie from total destruction. All in all its an average family film.

If you loved American Idol, you're gonna fall in love with this movie! Kelly is so cute and Justin is even cuter! I like Lauren Svoboda. I like to watch this when I'm cooking with mom in the kitchen after getting done selling my Amway products! I'm going to buy a Navigator after I move out of my trailor! Back to the movie. The storyline really tears at my heartstrings you guys (you know what I mean). I know it will on yours as well. A definite buy! Travis Jesperson saying I love you guys!
