Summary: Great movie!!
Review: I took my 8 year old daughter to see this movie, since we watched American Idol's 1st season religiously and voted for Kelly each and every week. The movie was great, we loved the music and dancing. I hope that they decide to release a soundtrack. I think Justin and Kelly are both cute as can be and extreamly talented both vocally as well as theatrically.

Summary: Cheesy!!!
Review: This story plot was so stupid...it's all guys chasing girls, girls chasing guys...Justin was a better actor than Kelly, though...Kelly was a better singer than Justin...but Kelly's character sort of got on my nerves...I dunno why. She just seemed kind of annoying and pouty. The music was nice though, and though it was so chessy and dumb it was kind of entertaining. But what was up with Alexa? She was so mean it hurt and made my friend and I all go WHY????!!!!!! And her solo was completely bad...her voice wasnt all too great but neiter was the song. Was this a waste of money? Well, not to me, (especially if you dont expect much) because as I said before it was quite entertaining though stupid...it didn't bore me anyways...

Look, I hope this has helped...I am very bad at writing these kind of things but I hope it helped you.

Summary: Fun Beach Movie
Review: It's not The Shawshank Redemption, but if you're looking for light hearted fun, solid performances from non-actors, and entertaining song and dance numbers than this movie is right up your alley!

I can't wait for this to come out on DVD! I also hope there's a soundtrack available at some point.

Summary: Awful!!
Review: I just had to see what not to do when you make a movie, so I went to see From Justin to Kelly. I walked out after 45 minutes. This movie makes "Who's that Girl" the "Gone with the Wind" of pop star flicks. It is possibly the worst thing I have seen ever. Justin looks ridiculous with his outdated hair and pancake powdered skin. Kelly looked like she was drinking to try to deal with her horrible lines she delivered in the deadpan style of a b-movie queen. The movie is inept and really depressing. These two 'stars' are on the way out, big time. Kelly will be holding up liquor stores and Justin will be doing porn movies. When you are quick to the top, the ride down is slow and painful. From Justin to Kelly is the perfect example.
Bye Justin and Kelly.

Summary: Excellent! Makes you want to sing and dance right with them!
Review: I LOVED this movie! I went with my friend to see it and we had the whole theater to ourselves because we went late at night to see it! We are both hardcore singers so we were belting out the songs with justin and kelly! I loved the storyline, the little romance between them. The dancing just made me want to get up and dance too! I can't wait to get it on DVD! Everyone should go see it, especially if you are Kelly and Justin fans! I just wish there was a soundtrack I could buy!

Summary: Grease on the Beach
Review: This video is very cute, sort of like "Grease", only you can take your kids to this one! I loved watching the movie. My whole family went to see it and can't stop talking! This is a must for Kelly and Justin fans everywhere, or anyone who wants to see a good, clean movie with great songs.

Summary: American Flops Again
Review: There was absolutely no doubt in my mind that when it really comes to movies, there really has to be a lot of chemistry within the works. It was just a shame that Kelly Clarkson was one of those who didn't have chemistry within her Thankful record, and it just goes even worse with From Justin To Kelly. If you're an American Idol fan, you'd surely love it, but it is the worst [...] I've ever had seen at the box office. I really thought the film could've showcased better chemistry between Justin and Kelly. Unfortunately, there wasn't any. If you really like these kind of teenage movie musicals, go get a copy of Grease with John Travolta. Trust me, you'll have a much better time seeing that 70's film instead.

Summary: Hilariously unfunny and cliched....
Review: This movie was not given to film critics ahead of time (like all theatrically released films) for them to review because they obviously knew that they had a complete bomb on their hands. But they felt that since Kelly Clarkson is very popular now and Justin has his album coming out soon, that they could make some money off this movie. Ahem...as of today, this film has grossed just over 3 million dollars and opened at no.11 on the box-office chart. No. 11!...i.e. did not even crack the top ten. I saw this film with a fellow wannabe-critic and friend and there were (literally) scenes that were just so painfully unfunny, cliched & derivitive that we laughed aloud. We even played a little game where every scene & plot situation came, we would name how many movies it had already been in, which since every scene (and basically the entire story) derives from other movies it kept us busy. Written by genius Kim Fuller (who also wrote that modern-day masterpiece "Spiceworld") and directed by world-renowed auteur Robert Iscove, who also made the glorious & original cinematic experience known as "She's all That") combine to create movie magic. That is if magic now means complete and utter garbage. First of all, Justin's 2 friends in the movie are the cliched-to-hell jock/playa & the nerdy/uptight virgin who (but of course) by the end of the film becomes a loosey-goosey wild man. Kelly's friends are the highly original bitchy/jealous slut and the dependent, lean-on-my shoulder black friend who can always be counted on (and the film gives this friend a budding romance with a local bartender that is SO uninteresting and so lame that I screamed out loud every time the film went back to her). Now on to the musical sequences. Justin & Kelly have both said that the film is like "Grease on the beach". But why do we love Grease? Why do we watch it over and over again and enjoy it so much? Because it has unforgettable characters we know & love, funny situations, and wonderful dances and songs that we cannot get out of our heads. FJ2K has none of this. Not only do we not care or have any interest about the one-dimensional characters at all (thanks Ms. Fuller...keep up the good writing!) but we forget about the songs immediately as they are over and the dancing is the same as your standard, MTV R&B music video. Nothing original, nothing exciting, nothing worth seeing. It is all bland, unoffensive, boring, uninteresting, cliched, hammy (especially Justin's acting...why, he must've studied under Brando!) Oh...and how many times are we gonna hear KC & The Sunshine's Band "That's the way I like it" in the movies? First in "The In Laws" last month and now again. I am someone who has seen lots of movies, and by lots I do not mean I go to the theater once every week. I watch on average 10-12 films a week, and have seen almost everything. So I think with some knowledge & experience that "From Justin to Kelly" is, in the spirit of American Idol judge Simon Cowell, quite possibly the worst film I have ever seen.
