Summary: Love the Girls!
Review: Yes, I was a bit bummed when Season 5 came out and it was the same price as if it were 12+ episodes. However, it is 2+ hours of entertainment, the same as a movie! Yet, we all pay 20 bucks for a typical DVD, even though the movie has made millions at the box office. It's only box office is cable, no advertisements to subsidize the cost and no movie houses bringing in the dough. So cry all you want, but the girls are gone and these DVD's are the only way to bring 'em back. I absolutely loved every single season and look forward to forking over my hard earned money for 1/2 a season. Cheers to Season 6!!!

Review: Hello,i look this series from germany. but i think the original sound(speech)is the best ,and will ever be the best. this season is almost the best i`ve seen fron sex and the city. it is full of emotion and real life feelings.... and in the end really fantastic ;)
If you love this series you schouldnt miss this dvd box set. i will order it to germany!

Review: I don't see why "real true fans" of this show must go out and buy this DVD...unless being a fan of SATC is synonymous with being a sucker for media marketing and hype. So, thanks but no thanks, I'm not going to "suck up" and buy this, until it lands on ebay or the sale rack. I'm as much a fan as anyone else, but I like to be smart about what I spend my money on (shoes). I agree with another reviewer, it is prices like these that encourage piracy.

Summary: Please, can we talk about dvd cases?
Review: I haven't yet seen Season 6, but I have the dvd's for 1-5 and I'd like to put in my 2 cents: the dvd cases suck! God, I love the show, but do you think the manufacturers could have made the cases any cheaper? I have watched them/lent them to friends a few times and all of the covers are falling off. Super lame.

Review: (...) Yeah, we deal with corporate America every single day. Turn on network television and the commercials smack you dead in the face, but NOT on HBO. Yes, you may pay to recieve HBO, but I live in a place where only sattelite is available and I have to pay for local network televison. I have yet to see any episode fron season 6, and while it is a complete marketing scheme to divide the season into 2 parts, HBO is a station and a corpration that makes avant garde subjects available to us in our homes. Where else will you find The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, Carnival, and Deadwood? Only on a station that has consumer funding, NOT even more excess corporate support. It it had the coprporations backing it, do you think we'd see Samantha in the positions we've seen her in? I am a Sex in the City fan, because it is so far out of my realm or reality. Would I like to be any of them, I don't know. But, I love seeing their characters, and therefore personalites devlop, and if you don't, then don't buy the series and don't complain!!

Review: We all know how great Sex in the City is and have waited patiently for this season to come out! I cannot believe the people who are complaining because it is only half of the season and how much it costs! We are devoted fans and like anything else, we will buy it and pay full price and LOVE it and wait eagerly for the next half to come out! Stop complaining about corporate america--we know how this country is run and how things are all outrageously priced, this is no differn't thank paying $6.00 for a pack of cigarettes. Suck it up and jsut love the show.

Review: I bought seasons 1-4 but have not shelled out the ridiculous amount they are trying to sell season 5 for~ 8 measly episodes (and the most boring of all six seasons, imo). Now season 6 is coming out, actually HALF the season, at FULL price? HBO sucks! I have all the episodes on tape and will just pick up the dvd later on Ebay once the prices fall. I totally agree with every angry viewer here!! It's companies like HBO that encourage viewers to participate in piracy!!

Review: Hi everyone, I know that a lot of people have been complaining about how greedy HBO is. Well, you are right, they are a greedy corporation trying to capatilize off fan needs. There is no reason why season five should have been full price and why season six is split into two parts. But if you are a true fan, you'll just suck up the disgust and buy it. We all can agree that Sex and the City has changed all of our lives, so lets give something back. Lets continue to show support! I will buy anything with the Sex logo!!!! I love Sex and the City the way Carrie loves her shoes especially Manolo Blahniks.

Summary: Expensive, but Worth It
Review: Sometimes the things you buy online are cheap and awesome, like the book "Secrets of Sensual Lovemaking." Other times they're medium price, like the dvd "New Sex Now". Other times they are expensive, like this Sex And The City dvd -- but this one is so worth it. This season was the best. And all of these are things you should own and enjoy to the max.
