Summary: Better than Barney
Review: My 17 month old loves Elmo and my husband and I love him too. After a few months of being subjected to Barney Elmo is great. This has three Elmo's Worlds on it - wild animals, fish and weather. We love it!!!!!

Summary: My least favorite....
Review: My kids really love Elmo and his DVD's, but this one is a little scarey. Some of the animals, and even some of the stormy weather scenes are a little intense for sensitive viewers. There are definitely better Elmo DVD"s out there.

Summary: Wolf scared my son
Review: My son loves Elmo and has every Elmo's world made. I bought this one as soon as I saw it. My son loves animals and I thought this would be his favorite Elmo video. Unfortunately, the scene with the big bad wolf can be frightening, as the other review says. My son cried (at 15 months) when the big bad wolf came on too. I tried a couple of times and he cried each time. I had to put this video away and will probably try it again in 6 months or so.

Summary: Wolf scared my son
Review: My soon to be 1yr old LOVES Elmo and we bought this b/c he loves animals as well - which this DVD does cover very well. BUT in the "Wild Animals" section, there is an appearance of the Big Bad Wolf that totally scared the crap out of my son! Even watching the part leading up to it freaks him out. So we have to completely skip the "Wild Animals" section, which is a bit of a waste of "movie time". He's normally pretty brave, but just a head's up in case your kid's at that "unfamiliar things are scary stage".

Summary: Ok, but can be scary to some kiddos!

Summary: Fun for kids and adults
Review: Our 18 month old loves this DVD. He is not scared at the section with the big bad wolf at all - maybe because he is too young for the Little Red Riding Hood stories. We have several Elmo DVD's and this one is much easier on our ears than some of the others. I have to admit that the "wiggle" song is actually quite catchy - don't be surprised if you catch yourself singing it!

Summary: Fish, Weather, Wild Animals, and ELMO!!
Review: This is another in the series of three short vignettes, and they are wonderful tools to teach the young ones about various topics. Like all the others, it is very consistent, and Elmo is consistent in his approach to learning. The Wild Animals were a little "in your face" in the beginning, and the really young ones might be taken back, as well as "The Weather" portion where the Wind comes into Elmo's house and almost blows him away, but it's a generally cute video for those Elmo-tykes like my twin daughters, and...Elmo still makes me laugh!!!

Highly recommended!!!
