Summary: Faster on the release and a "Play All" Feature
Review: I'll have to agree with several of the reviewers - need to release the seasons on at least a quarterly basis - otherwise we'll be here till 2007 - and having watched the 2nd season dvd's - there still isn't a "play all" on these discs - c'mon fox get your act together.

Review: mash is my favorite tv show of all time and i have only the pleasure of seeing it in syndication untill now, i bought season one and i watched it in 3 days(wouldnt have taken so long if i didnt have to work) and im in desperate waiting for season 2, and i have yet to see the finaly, i so glad it is being released...

Summary: The laughs will keep you in stitches at the 4077th
Review: MASH always knew how to get a good laugh in, and still focus on some very serious topics, all the way from day one all the way up to the grande finale. 5 O'Clock Charlie is one of those episodes that most fully probed the comic comaradery these guys had and still got the message across that sometimes just common sense is a better way to to get rid of the enemy rather than overpowering them.In many ways, MASH had re-invented itself in the second season, got rid of a few space taking characters. Gone are nurse Cutler (who while she was good looking and had many good episodes revolve around her, she was not brought back) and Spearchucker Jones (who on most occasions wasn't much more than mere background). In was a character who appeared in one or two episodes in the first season, and who was about to become a perminent fixture, the cross-dressing Max Klinger. As we all know, the move with Klinger was a wise one, and his dresswear became such a popular hit that some actresses even lined up for him to put on some of their old dresses, he's wore dresses from the Sound of Music, Gone with the Wind, even Shirley Temple had him wear one or two of her dresses. Another character who makes his first appearance in this season, and stays until the end, is the slightly whacko Dr. Sidney Freedman, who came out with a lot of cute sayings like "Ladies and gentlemen take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice."

Summary: Best Show Ever!
Review: MASH is arguably the best half-hour television show ever produced. In the DVD collection you get to see segments that were cut to make room for more commercials. Some of these haven't been seen since the original broadcasts and are a joy to watch. One can also turn off the laugh track. This is fascinating way to watch and can give you an entirely different view of some scenes. The first three seasons were always my favorites and the opportunity to own them on DVD is fantastic. Buy this one, buy the next one, buy them all. Its well worth it.

Summary: M*A*S*H 4077th
Review: I was born in 1982 during the 10th season of M*A*S*H. Although I do not remember when the last episode aired on television ever since it has been on the cable channel fx I have watched the television show religiously. Now that I have the first season on dvd it helps to add to the wonders of M*A*S*H and our knowledge of the unforgotten war. I urge everyone to pick up every season of M*A*S*H once they are available on dvd.

Summary: Easily the best kept secret of the show.
Review: When thinking of M*A*S*H, usually Season 1, 11, or major changing ones like 4 (first Hunnicutt and Potter) and 6 (first Winchester.) come to mind. But 2 can easily hold it's own. With great episodes like "The Sniper" and "Carry On, Hawkeye" it's a must-see for any fan. It's nice that they finally got around to putting the whole thing in one place.

Review: How wonderful it is to finally be able to sit down and pop in a M*A*S*H DVD. The quality is excellent, and I can watch my favorite episodes whenever I want. I cannot wait to own the entire series on DVD. I have been waiting for so long for this. M*A*S*H is the best show ever, and deserves no less than to be preserved in this format.

Review: I was born after 1983 when M*A*S*H ended, yet to this day, besides Transformers and Gargoyles, it is my FAVOURITE SHOW!!! It is funny, witty, and has just that right blend that today's show just don't have. If you buy one DVD buy M*A*S*H season one; if you buy two, get M*A*S*H season 2; if you buy three, get TRANSFORMERS season 1. M*A*S*H is one of those great shows that will never be duplicated. YOU WONT BE DISSAPOINTED.

Summary: Should be great like the first season set, but I want more!
Review: I have the first season set and it is simply excellent. Great picture and sound quality that far exceeds what is being shown on TV, plus the shows are uncut and many scenes have not been seen in decades. I assume this set will be of similar quality. I, like others, only wish it would not take so long between DVD releases. I don't want to have to wait until 2006 for the whole series. It would also be nice to have a "view all" option in the menu so you do not have to go back to the menu after every episode. I am also hoping that Fox will continue their excellent DVD program and decide to bring out The Bob Newhart Show. They already have done the Mary Tyler Moore Show and I look forward to this disc set too. Fox, keep up the good work!

Summary: More M*A*SH Faster!
Review: Hopefully a sales representative from Fox will see and heed our reviews. Two seasons per year for such a popular TV show (one that ran for 11 years) is just too long a wait for M*A*S*H fans. Perhaps a better solution would be including two seasons per release. The world has been waiting for this example of the best in American television to come out on DVD, and I don't think Fox need worry about flooding the market.
