Review: It's poetic that the best American comedy series of the past 20 years (you heard me) stopped production after 4 seasons by the artist's choice. They had very high standards, and they stopped at the peak. Thank you, HBO, for doing SOMETHING smart. And thanks again for relegating their last season to Minday night at 12:00.

Review: A dream come true, my favorite T.V. show of all time is finally here. It never got the respect it deserved. But the bastard brain child of these true comics geniuses is finally here for the world to rejoice in. It began in the Grunge-era early 90's with references to slackers and counter-culture. It's humor to absurd and intelligent for most of middle-america; it wasn't a commercial success, but how often IS true art? If evry country had to pick one sketch to fight it out in a battle royal Canada would get "the Kids..", England would have "the Pythons", and The U.S. would get "Bob & David and friends". And it would be a close fight to call. I became a cult hit with a rabid fan base usually reserved for Star Wars and Trekkies. And it has deserved every bit of it. Never before had a show been SO gaddamn balls to the wall funny. If you don't get the joke; than you don't (and I feel sorry fo you). But if you GET IT, there is no better joy than laughing ...again and again and again to this show. God Bless Mr. Show. And I can't wait for "Run Ronnie Run:The Ronnie Dobbs Story-A Mr. Show Movie"

Review: ...if you consider yourself a person with a sense of humor, strap in, turn on, and drop from laughter. There are dozens and dozens of sketches that make me roll when I think about them. I won't go into detail here, but you should definitely pick up a copy of the DVD. And what a bargain! Can you put a price on joy? Amazon has, and it's cheap! Write it off as a medical expense. Laughter is good for the body, after all...

Review: I am elated this is finally available, this is one of the best shows you have never seen (it aired on HBO at midnight on Mondays for years--not a great time slot, and it is WAY too edgy to ever see the light of day on any channel other than HBO). Anyway, if you like brilliant, irreverent comedy that pulls no punches, you'll love this. I am shocked at the couple of people who gave this a bad review, all I can say is, either A) You didn't watch it for more than 30 seconds, or B) The humor goes over your head, so maybe go watch re-runs of "Full House" and perhaps Andrew Dice Clay's paramount performance in Ford Fairlane... This show is right up there with the other great HBO shows: Sex & The City, Larry Sanders, Sopranos, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Six Feet Under. It belongs in that stable of excellence. This is the show Voltaire would have written if he'd been able to use the F word. This show will have you and your friends laughing your collective rears off. If you're smart, get it, you'll love it. But it's not for the slow or the easily offended...

Review: Mr. Show is the most fantastic, intelligent, and simply hilarious sketch comedy show EVER, perhaps with the exception of Flying Circus. But as an American with a Brain, drowning in the banality of the modern age (and sometimes loving it), I would have to say that, for me, Mr. Show tops even those lads from London. If you love funny, if you love sarcasm, if you love excessive swearing, this is the must-own boxed set of the year. It will make you five times cooler than you ever were.

Review: Bob and David have produced the funniest sketch comedy known to man. Clearly some of the most talented comedians in the industry, their irreverent humor and sarcastic wit lend themselves to the ultimate viewing experience. Prepare to bust your gut as you laugh your pants off.

Bob: Mister sophisticato. Nice jacket. Super hair. Aren't you to old for this [stuff]? Why not give some of your thick and full hair to David? Anyways, I got this DVD set for free as a advance reviewers copy. Well here is what I think people can do with this DVD "set": Through it in a shredder and duck, cause the DVD's are going to cut into little pieces and they will fly all around the room and cut anything that comes in their way. Then remove the shredded stuff and put in the litter box and use it for really absorbent kitty litter...

Summary: The Funniest Show Ever !!
Review: Mr. Show is by far the funniest sketch comedy show out there, unfortunately it didn't last too long. The reason why the show is so great is that most of the themes on the show don't make a whole lot of sense or too much sense. If it hadn't been for HBO, this would have never have been made due to its large amount of its necessary swearing and content that you would never see on a major network, they push the envelope too much. Bob Odenkerk and David Cross are a couple of the funniest comedians alive and if you haven't heard of them before, after seeing this you will never forget them. If you liked Kids In the Hall, then you will absolutely love this. Buy this DVD, it's worth it and you will laugh your behind off!

Review: I have seen these shows on a HBO marathon, and let me tell you, they ARE funny! You need to be a little twisted to get some of the humor, and had tried a drug or two sometime in your life. But damn.......... this is funny
