Summary: Great Series
Review: Kerri Russell was greatly casted as the show's main character Felicity Porter. We see her make life altering decisions, starting by not going to Stanford and following her heart to New York to go to school with her High School Crush Ben. If you have ever gone to college and lived in a dorm, you will really like this series. The awkwardness of your first day at school, making new friends, and meeting your new roommate. They really casted every part well, and the actors have great chemistry, which makes this series very fun to watch over and over again.

Review: I never saw this show when it originally aired and only discovered it recently on WE TV and the DVD's. I watched the entire first and second season in the weekend after my DVDs arrived. Talk about hooked! This show is fabulous.

Summary: The best show a moron can watch
Review: I would definitely say that this is one of the best series' of all times for an absolute idiot. If you are in to being a moron or shooting yourself in the foot for fun, then you will love this DVD...All joking aside folks, this show is truly an absolute joy to watch. Those who do not get this show certainly must have much more to do with their lives than to watch and see if some dumb broad cuts her hair off or not (like that is going to change the fact that she sucks). If you purchase this, you may be sadder than when you actually watched new episodes air with all of your slightly less inteligent friends. Enjoy this gem, or go buy Aqua Teen Hunger Force if you want a bigger laugh.

Summary: Felicity's #1 Fan!!!!!!!
Review: i've never liked a series as much as I like Felicity!!!!! i own season 1 AND 2 and now i'm juss waiting for season 3 and 4 to be released!!!!! Juss everything about the show is great! its quirky humor, relationships with friends, family and lovers is juss something that is completely REALISTIC and juss something you can totally relate to. Overall, its TWO thumbs up for me! i can almost guarantee anyone that watches this will be hooked ! if you juss watch how the relationship between ben and felicity unfolds, you'll start to feel as if the show has become a part of you!

Summary: The best series ever
Review: First time I watched an episode of "Felicity" I was only 16 (I'm 21 now). From the very beginning, I fell in love with the series and with each character, specially Felicity and Ben, of course. Time passed by, I grew up, graduated from high school and started College. Felicity and her friends' life really inspired me in this time of my life, and that's why I didn't even hesitate to purchase the first season of the series. The episodes are so nice, and it's really touching to remember all these good moments.

Summary: Fantastic Show--mediocre DVD
Review: I have loved the show since it first appeared on the WB. Second only to Buffy in terms of watchability, I was thrilled when the DVDs came out. However, as noted in other reviews, the DVD quality isnt the best nor are there many special features. The thing that bothered me the most was the change in soundtrack. Great songs like Eagle Eye Cherry's Save Tonoght, Kate Bush's Woman's Work (on the soundtrack), Some Sarah and Jewel among others have been edited out and replaced with what I think is Amy Jo Johnson's own music. The sountrack to this series was what made it amazing, all the thought that went into every seen. Amy Jo deserves accolades for her musical career, but not at the expense of what was formerly a flawless TV soundtrack. The rape episode in particular suffered greatly in meaning without the strong voices of many female vocalists now replaced with Johnson. The scene where Julie finally goes to a counselor was amazing with This Woman's Work in the background; the closing seen with Julie reading Zach's letter used to have Jewel's Absense of Fear as the closing notes. Even the sighs in the song had been choreographed to match Julies own intakes of breath. Her own songs just dont have the same power. I wish there was a way I could have the original episodes back. These are good, as the show is amazing, but I feel very dissapointed with the changes.

Summary: Good content, mediocre transfer
Review: I like the show and the collection, but buyer beware! I'd recommend this since the price is great for around 20 episodes, but it's definitely sub-par for DVD quality. There aren't really any extras on the DVDs, and they force-feed you ads at the beginning. This could be forgiven since the adds are "skipabble," but the transfer quality isn't. Scan lines are very noticeable, especially when the camera pans or there is a scene with a lot of motion. Don't get me wrong, it's watchable and isn't as annoying as fuzzy picture with a TV antenna or poor cable hook-up, but it's definitely not up to the potential of DVD.

Summary: A series with an intellect
Review: Felicity was the first show I ever watched when I was actually the same age as the characters and although Flic and her buds can be stupid, daggy, melodramatic or even absurd at times, this show exhibits the finer points of that most finicky creature: the university student!!
I and so many of my friends could identify with her ups and downs, cringed at her over emotional moments, swooned over Ben and Noel's boyish good looks and roared with laughter at Javier (Flic's boss) and room-mates Elena and Megan.
The audio commentaries by the creators offer a great insight into how hard it was to make a show like Felicity on a shoestring and give a rare insight into the actors themselves. Reeves and Abrams' comments also show their real affection for the characters and the fact that the show reflects many of their own experiences.
This one's a gem, at last, I have found a show I can identify with on so many levels that does not patronise my intellect. All those who bag out Felicity are simply spoil-sports - everyone can find a moment or a character they can identify with, and that's such a feat.
Hooray for Felicity!! Bring on the release of the rest of the series!!

Review: I liked the way the characters always greeted one another in the Felicity episodes: a soft, drawn out "Hayyyyyyyyyyyy." Felicity opens the door to find Ben standing there, and he's upset because he saw her kissing Noel. He says, "Hayyyyyyyyy." And she replies, "Hayyyyyyyyy." Noel drops in on Felicity to ascertain whether she has feelings for him, or whether she has feelings for Ben, and when she opens the door and sees him, she says, "Hayyyyyyyy." And Noel gently replies, "Hayyyyyyyyyy." Ah yes, the supernaturally indecisive Felicity Porter, and her tender, vulnerable, feeling-laden paramours, Noel and Ben. Hayyyyyyyyyy.
