Summary: Way too cool!!!
Review: David Lynch is a master, and Cooper is just too sexy for words. I have watched the tapes with my husband at least 10 times, and we still love it (except for that whole James/Donna thing. That got tired the second time through). What I want to know is if there's going to be a follow up. I'd love to see what happens since the Bad Agent Cooper escaped from the Black Lodge, and trapped the Good Agent Cooper in. I was so upset when I saw that last episode and realized that it was the very last episode. Anyway, loved it, loved the diary of Laura Palmer, just want to get the Cooper tapes now! (Damn Fine TV Series!)

Summary: Utter mastery of film and drama....
Review: This is an exquisite style of all aspects of the screen. Not only does Lynch make you feel like he is making a parody on modern day soaps and life, but he also makes it feel like each episode is a film for the silver screen in themselves. The only thing that is lacking with the episodes is the fact that you cannot get a hold of them in DVD format.

Summary: I love Twin Peaks , but the quality here iragitates .
Review: I think customers should be warned that the series is recorded in slow speed to increase amount of space on the video . Rather than double the amount of tapes included in the package , the company just destroyed the integrity of the tapes they did use by recording in SP . On the other hand , the series is wonderful and Amazon.com does have the best price .

Summary: Damn fine.
Review: Twin Peaks is a masterpiece. Lynch has a superb eye for the uncanny as is proved in his wildly entertaining and horribly addictive series. It is impossible to watch bit by bit so this is the very form in which to buy the series. Like any other, it has some inane subplots and characters that you genuinely care nothing for, but all in all this takes little time and some of you may be interested in idiots. Other than that I adore it and highly, highly recommend the set. Makes a nice Christmas gift.

Summary: Lynch's masterpiece: Never to be surpassed
Review: There are a million things to say about "Twin Peaks". But they can all be summed up in one word: Perfect. Each and every episode is a mysterious miracle. This is the work of a genious (David Lynch) - everything has been thought of: storyline, music, atmosphere, mystery, the supernatural, the horror, love, nature - it's magical. I doubt anything on TV or on the big screen will ever surpass this. END

Summary: Addictively Fun and Entertaining !
Review: The simple mystery of "Who killed Laura Palmer ?" is only the surface of a deep exploration into hidden worlds of good and evil with an incredibly colorful cast of characters mixed with director David Lynch's physical incarnation of metaphysical worlds and entities.

Even if you have seen the movie Fire Walk With Me (which answers the mystery), the series still has a grossly magnetic appeal as its characters' own stories and relationships unfold among a backdrop of Lynch's esoteric imagery.

Personally, I cannot get enough. I have just watched the first tape of 5 episodes (which I borrowed while waiting for mine to arrive) and cannot wait to watch the rest. With lots of hidden symbols and images (check out some of the Twin Peaks websites via your favorite search engine), this series is worth(and requires) watching more than once. END

Summary: It's is the best thing you will ever buy.
Review: Twin Peaks is the most intellectually stimulating television series in the history of mankind. Every single episode was perfect in every way. Kyle MacLaughlan played his role perfecly. It had a twisted David Lynch feel to it. Each episode has a perfect balance of suspence, comedy, mystery, drama, and just plain wierdness. I generally can't sit still for more than ten minutes at a time but when I rented the Twin Peaks series I watched five to six episodes in one sitting and I still wanted more. Trust me if you like david Lynch's style then you will never regret buying this video set. David Stolte END

Summary: Television At Its VERY Best!
Review: I had to give it five stars, because, well, it's "Twin Peaks!" I remember being 14-yrs-old watching it with my Mom every Tuesday night!! Brilliant in acting, concept and design. There have been many who complained that the original 2-hour pilot episode was not included in this set. It's because it's produced by another production company. David Lynch is still fighting for the rights to "Eraserhead," because it was done as a school project and the school still retains the rights to the movie despite his best efforts to buy it from them. I just bought the two-hour pilot from a supplier in Seattle no problem, copies do exist, there's just not very many of them. Do a thorough search on the net and you'll be able to track down a copy. In the meantime, I highly recommend this set. Whether you've watched it countless times or are thinking about checking out what all the commotion is about, it's a valuable asset to any DVD collection. It's the epitome of the twisted, bizarre journey that only David Lynch could create!!!
