Review: I'm a very happy woman. Now, that I have "Sex in the City" as part of my own personal collection I'm thrilled. This wonderfully funny, sexy and amazingly acted HBO show is my favorite. There is NOTHING else like it. NO WHERE. The cast of four female characters is wonderful. Sarah Jessica Parker is a wonderful Carrie and I just love Kim Catrell as Samantha. This amazing show is brought to TV from the great book by Candance Bushnell's wildly popular book by the same name. To be honest I have been a longtime fan of the book and was worried that TV couldn't do it justice...well, I was wrong. Dead wrong. This show has gone beyond what I could have hoped for. I love watching these four ladies as they make their lives threw New York City. It gives us (from the midwest..etc) as chance to live threw them. And, it's such a great.*And, if NOTHING else, the romance and chemistry between Carrie and Big to do die for. Chris Noth is a brilliant addition to a "woman friendly" world. He's just wonderful. Buy it...Buy it NOW!

Review: capital idea to release this outstanding series in dvd! although it's true the images tend to be a bit murky at times, it truly impels one to have multiple viewings! come and end up rolling with laughter fr beginning til the very end. camille paglia would be proud. finally, here's a breakthrough series about women who revel in their sexuality and still end up on top! it's likewise commendable that in this series, men behaving badly are actually funny. i should get so lucky!

Summary: Sophisticated humor intended for a mature audience
Review: I'll start off by saying that I am not a huge fan of Sarah Jessica Parker, but this series can change even the most cynical viewer into a believer. In this collection you get a dozen episodes of some of the greatest television ever produced. The characters are very into themselves and there isn't a lot to know about them that can't be found on the service. In short, they are perfect for 90's icons. If you're not into adult oriented humor or in your face verbage then you definitely should stay away from this one. If that type of thing doesn't bother you, then nothing should keep you from buying it. This is one of those shows that you will find yourself watching over and over again. If it doesn't make you laugh, you probably need to reevaluate your priorities, or put your habit back on.

Review: It's great having the First Season in one nifty package. The content is A+, but the DVD transfer images are inconsistent and distracting. HBO Home Video should consider providing replacement disks.

Review: Okay, ever since it won the Golden Globe for Best Comedy TV Show, Sex In The City has been the coolest US adult comedy out. Now, all its fans dreams have come true - you can buy it from amazon.com! I'll tell ya, it is a truly great video for the collection, even if you've never heard of the TV Show! Sarah Jessica Parker is great, adorable and sexy as the lead, and all the guys and gals and do great jobs acting in the coolest show in the city! The really good thing about Sex In The City is only don't you see sex, but you get a good look at what perverts of New York City are really like! Buy this if your a big fan of the TV show and you won't be disappointed!

Summary: Image quality is poor
Review: I really enjoyed this movie, although it is not aired in Japan yet. However I found one flaw in this DVD. As I watched this DVD on my 32-inch TV monitor, I noticed the image quality is so poor that I thought I was watching VHS tape recordings. I think this needs improvement.

Review: I originally had no idea as to the story of this show, and frankly after I saw the first episode I was not all that impressed. Then as I started to watch the rest of it I really got into it. It's really a sophisticated show with some great humor and wonderful philosophy on modern life. I whole hardly recommend this show to singles and couples alike! I great cast coupled with a set of great scripts make this show a real treat

Summary: Sex and New York
Review: Having seen this program a few times on HBO I looked forward to the DVD. This is a show that is geared towards women more than men although I enjoyed the program as much as my wife. Since the show is now in its 4th season I can't wait until the 2nd and 3rd searson are released. I hope that next DVDs are more consistent as many of the episodes are grainy.
