Summary: Love, love, LOVE it!
Review: I have really become a big fan of the series, as I enjoy solving puzzles. I recommend it highly. My only complaint is that they included character profiles of everyone, including Brass and Greg Sanders, but not of George Eads's character of Nick Stokes. Otherwise, this is a total treasure!

Summary: I got to catch up on the episodes I missed
Review: I absolutely love CSI. I can't wait for the next one to come out.

Summary: The best criminal/law enforcement series in a long time.
Review: I've watched CSI for a long time, and I recently bought the DVD series. Being in law enforcement myself, and observing some of the cases the cast tackles, I am amazed at the level of realism that the producers have incorporated to the show. I mean, who really knew what an electro-static print lifter was for before watching the series? I fully recommend this series for anyone interested in seeing what is involved in solving difficult crime.

Summary: Excellent TV Series - Pity about the DVD
Review: There's not much you can fault with the CSI series. Clever storylines and most of all, an excellent cast (the very reason CSI: Miami will probably not make it past 3 seasons).

The DVD however is surprisingly lacking for many reasons.
1. Not in 16:9 ratio
2. No subtitles (ironic since the lead character is almost deaf)
3. Hardly any special features

Still - the series itself overshadows a lot of this. I'd still recommend it.

Summary: A must For CSI fans
Review: I have never missed an Episode of CSI since the middle of the second season, and had only seen a few episodes from the 1st season, I had herd how good the 1st season was, and having become a huge fan, couldn't wait to get this set. Needless to say I was not dissapointed. The first season is great, I watched all the episodes (witch are 45 minutes each, not bad for an hour long show) within 3 days of buying the set. For someone who came in in the middle of the series, it cleared up alot of the personal story lines for the characters and has made the show that much better for me to watch. I loved the 1st season so much, that I know I will watch it many times, and if your a true CSI fan, you will too, that's why I'm recamending it to everyone, weather or not you have never seen an episode from the 1st season. If also has a little behind the sceens segment, character profiles, and the music video of the song in the opening creadits, "Who Are You".

Summary: Now you can own the best show on television!
Review: I was a staunch non-watcher of anything on TV. CSI changed all that for me! The actors of CSI have changed the awareness of people about how crimes are solved and the work of the forensic scientist. This show has created a keen interest in the public for all things forensic and spawned countless others on networks and cable telelvision who cannot get enough of CSI. The show gives us characters we can care about and keep us coming back again and again. I cannot wait for all the other seasons to come out on DVD. This is a definite must-own series for anyone who likes crime, mystery or even action stories.

Summary: The best syndicated show to come along in years
Review: Undoubtadly the best syndicated TV drama to come along in quite some time; CSI: Crime Scene Investigation is powered by intelligent and compelling storytelling, a superb ensemble cast, and superstar producer Jerry Bruckheimer's pocketbook. This long awaited DVD set of the first season includes all 24 episodes; all of which carry unusually high script quality and are never without their plot twists (and there are those a plenty). The cast is incredibly well put together: starring William Peterson (the original, and best, Will Graham from Michael Mann's Manhunter), Marg Helgenberger, Gary Dourdan (Alien Resurrection), the gorgeous Jorja Fox (who appeared briefly in Memento), George Eads, and Paul Guilfoyle; all of whom are always nothing short of superb in their respective roles. Sadly, I had missed out on CSI when it had first premiered (stupid me), but I am slowly catching up with off season re-runs. Thd DVD bonus features aren't anything special (this is from Paramount after all now), but that doesn't take away from the ingenuity of the show. All in all, CSI is possibly the best prime time drama to hit network TV since The X-Files ten years ago, and whether you purchase this set or just watch it whenever you can on television then you know what I'm talking about. If you've never seen anything of CSI however, you have been sadly missing out.

Summary: LOVE IT!!!
Review: I lived overseas when this series started and didn't get to start watching it until last year when I moved back. Getting to see (and own) the first season episodes is great because now I see the background of the characters and it helps me understand where they are coming from a little better. Even if you have been able to watch from the first season, this is still a great buy!

Summary: CSI Review
Review: This was a GREAT DVD. I thought I would get bored of watching the same episodes over and over again, but I did not. I watch the whole 17 hours about once a month and absolutly love it so I gave it 5 stars.

Summary: CSI Vegas: The First Season
Review: I have enjoyed watching these shows again. CSI is one of the few t.v. shows in which watching re-runs isn't boring! I am looking forward to the future release in DVD of the second season and third seasons. It's great to have all the shows together. Highly recommend!
