Review: ... but I am afraid Sex in the City leaves me cold. I agree that the writing and acting are consistently above average, but the subject matter ... yecch. Should I have dump the guy who is uncircumsized? How can I get that adorable four thousand dollar handbag? Should I have sex with that cute busboy, or am I just a promiscuous alcoholic? For a conventionally married, non-urban, child rearing male, this stuff reads like a script from another planet. I look forward to the 25th season, when the women are all post-menopausal tarted-up harridans dragging their gigolos to some sad, upscale watering hole and reliving the old days over Cosmos.

Review: I am anxiously awaiting the first season to arrive in the mail, but I can say that if it is as good as the second season it is money well spent. These videos are great for spending an evening of 'girl time'. Any woman will love this series and you will feel incredibly inspired/relieved about the current relatioships you are in or any you've ever had!!! Enjoy and get ready for hours of endless laughter.

Review: I hate this show. I lump it in with Ally Mcwhiney and the film Bridget Jones Diary. Single desperate women whiney about men and their life, jobs, careers, etc. If they existed in real life, and I suspect many do, I'd tell them to get a life and grow up. They make our generation look silly. I wouldn't date any of them.

Review: I am one of those who don't subscribe to HBO, but I must have my Sex in the City fix! If you haven't watched this before, you really should start with Season 1 before moving on to Season 2- the stories do flow together. I love the characters, and the actors are awesome. I've been a big Chris Noth fan since his Law and Order days (Mr. Noth, please join the cast again!), and he's great as the mysterious Mr. Big (just what is his real name?). Charlotte, Samantha, Miranda and Carrie are all great characatures of people we all know, and they do it quite convincingly.
