Rating: Summary: Please Release Twin Peaks Season 2 Review: I agree with one reviewer who stated that the release of Twin Peaks Season 2 should not be based upon the sales figures for Season 1.I love David Lynch, though I was not as familiar with him when Twin Peaks aired and have not seen it. I desperately want to see the series, but refuse to watch half of it. If Twin Peaks Season 2 was available I would purchase it along with the Twin Peaks Season 1. This is simply bad marketing.
Rating: Summary: FIVE STARS for the Series, but .... Review: I'm rating my review five stars for the series itself, though as you already know, I can't possibly have seen them on DVD since they have not been released in the US on DVD. My husband purchased season 1 for me on DVD from Amazon, along with the Pilot, which was only available from Japan at the time, when Season 1 first came out. In today's world, where every craptacular show and movie that was ever unleashed on the viewing public is now available on DVD, I can not understand why Artisan chose to release only Season 1. 1) They are foolish if they are basing their release of Season II on sales of Season I because it seems so many people are now not purchasing Season I BECAUSE there is NO SEASON II!!, 2) Did they really expect to win any friends / fans by baiting us with Season I only to let us sit here and wait, wait, wait for a Season II that will never come? According to another recent reviewer, Artisan now has no intention of releasing Season II. I have not looked into this further, but I am writing this review to ask you, the reader, to please do what you can to urge Artisan to release this DVD. The easiest way to take action is to request more information. Everytime an email address is added to the blue box at the top of this screen (to sign up for release info), Amazon supposedly passes the info along to the production company to help them determine demand. LET IT BE KNOWN THAT YOU WANT THIS DVD!

Rating: Summary: I WANT SEASON 2!!! Review: Alright, I have just purchased Twin Peaks Series 1 from "Amazon.co.uk" and it's on its way over. The reason why I bought the Region 2 DVDs (UK) instead of the Region 1 DVDs (US) is because the Region 2 Twin Peaks DVDs has included the pilot episode which isn't in the Region 1 set plus I have a region free player. Now, based on the other reviews and from what my mom told me (she watched Twin Peaks when I was too young to understand any of it), I would definitely want to get Series 2 too!!! So please please release TWIN PEAKS, SEASON 2!!! I am one of the many people who will buy it...regardless of whether it is Region 1 or 2...just release it!!!
Rating: Summary: Give me season 2 Review: Oh my god .... I can NOT believe the bloody delay in the release of season 2 on DVD. So many people are gagging for this to be released and yet they continue to stall it. Twin Peaks is by far one of the most thought provoking, disturbing shows ever to be broadcast and I must, No ... I need to be owning Season 2 on DVD to watch (and watch and watch). Pull your finger out Artisan and give the public what it wants , preferably in time for Christmas 2003!!!!! How much longer can us TP fans go on with just S1 and FWWM to watch ??? Arghhhhhhhhhhhhh BRING ON SEASON 2 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Don't hold your breath. Review: Those of you waiting anxiously for the Twin Peaks season 2 set are sadly waiting in vain...Artisan has recently announced they have no intention of releasing the second season on DVD due to the poor sales of the first season set. In interviews they stated the sales of the 1st set simply weren't large enough to cover the cost of production it took to make the set, therefore continuing with a second set was not considered a wise financial move. They have since stated that another studio will perhaps garner the rights to the episodes and release them, but that is a BIG maybe. Sorry to be the one to break the news, but it doesn't look like this will hit DVD at all.
Rating: Summary: Finally Season 2!! Review: i was so agitated at the lack of season 2 on dvd that i bought the spanish boxset, which leaves a lot to be desired. looks like season 2 is slated for a 11/24/03 UK release, hopefully a domestic release will follow!
Rating: Summary: Prick Us Do We Not Bleed........................... Review: What sadism! Not only are denied Cannes Palm D'Or winner "Wild at Heart", offered a mediocre fullscreen Canadian import of "Lost Highway", but now no "Season Two" of "Twin Peaks"? It's as if the Marquis De Sade himself, has gone into distribution. Savage us no longer with your abattoir of backward cinematic sensibility! Release our filmic testicles from your merciless grasp and give in to our demands, all of you tantalizing hellhounds! Remember, socketless sifters of the blind, there are more of us than there are of you. Bevare....take care....Bevare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Amazing... Our patience and their slowness beggars belief. Review: Don't you just love it? The product has thousands of eager buyers waiting for it with bated breath; it already has a sales rank although you cannot buy it, it has five stars and reviews by people who never saw it on DVD. And yet - for some reason - they would STILL not publish it. Hey, what is the matter? What are they waiting for? Is Season One not selling well? Yes it is; as a matter of fact, it's ranking is similar to DVD edition of "The Hunt for Red October" (just an example from the same year of original release). Let's hope we'll at least be able to have this for Christmas.
Rating: Summary: Twin Peaks DVD (First Season Only ???) Review: After having watched the Twin Peaks series back in 1990 and being both intrigued and thrilled by the quality of a network series (for a change), I was excited to find the Twin Peaks DVD offered at my favorite elecronics store recently. I immediately purchased it and rushed home to get comfy and relive one of my favorite stories of quirkiness and suspense. After getting to episode 8, I finally realized that this DVD only offered the first season of the series (I know...I should have known...It was right on the front of the box...). Even so, I was extremely disappointed and began searching the internet to find the second season on DVD. Alas, it is not to be found (apparently not even being produced yet...but you can go to Amazon.com and send your vote to Artisan to let them know we all desperately want to see the second season). Not that I've vented a little, let me say that I am very pleased with the first season DVD (it was great to see it again) and I am happy with my purchase. I do think, however, that there could have been a little more offered in the way of special features (deleted scenes, alternate endings, etc...but I know those perks weren't even being considered back in the early 90's...). Overall, this is a great DVD and I would recommed it to anyone for an evening of great entertainment.
