Summary: I never took the Kobayashi Maru
Review: Zowie! What the Star Wars films did with grand, whole-fleet battles, this movie does with ship-vs-ship, one-on-one space action. But it's more than that. The characters are richly developed, Ricardo Montalban makes one of the best-ever movie villains, and the cliffhanger ending tugs right at your heart.

Summary: Good movie on a low budget.
Review: There are claims by the film company that this film cost $12 million, but I remember reading at the time it's budget was only 3 and a half million dollars.Shot by a TV film crew,it re-uses effects from the first film,re-uses the same bridge set(redressed)no less than 3 times and the Eden Cave effect is cheap and terrible. The sets are cheap with the room Spock meets his fate in looking more like a disco dance floor than a power room.On the plus side ST2 has terrific action scenes(better effects in the battle scene),good script, good direction, good acting and a great music score. However,Star Trek 4 and 6 are better movies(due to Leonard Nimoy's efforts as director on 4 and producer on 6). ST:TNG First Contact and Insurrection are better films, due in part to their bigger budgets. But ST2 is well done for it's time, although the Eden Cave effect should be re-done.Footnote...why doesn't Paramount get the support actors to do a commentary on a DVD.What great Shatner stories they could tell!

Summary: Thrilling!
Review: Criticly accalmed as the best of the series,The Wrath of Khan places Admirial Kirk against his mysterious long-lost enemy Khan,a genecticly altered, late 20th century leader.Khan and his party are discovered whan a small science team investgate a mysterious reading from the planet, and from their a chain reaction is started. This second picture was the kind of excitinly familiar, yet twistedly new film that fans of all ages had been waiting for.Starring(William Shatner as Admiral kirk)and(Ricardo Montalban as Khan)

Summary: Some of the best Star Trek ever
Review: I haven't seen the other Star Trek movies yet, but i know one thing: "Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan" is one of the best movies I've ever seen without a doubt. I've been a longtime fan of the original series and this movie couldn't have been any better.

It's about Captain Kirk (who is now Admiral Kirk) meeting an old enemy he once had battle with in the Tv series: Khan. Khan wants a device called Genesis that supposedly can create a whole new planet with life. Therefore, Kirk takes over and tells the new crew that they will have to mature a little early. Once Kirk beams onboard the ship that Genesis was created on, he finds a woman he was once involved with, Dr. Carol. He also finds out from her that he has a son. Will the up and coming crew and the aging Admiral Kirk along with Spock and the rest of the classic crew of the Starship Enterprise be able to finish off Khan and save Genesis?

"Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan" is one of the best movies I've ever seen in every aspect. It has great special effects, action sequences, and sound effects, especially for a movie during the early 80's. You'll notice that when you see parts of the movie such as when Dr. Carol shows Admiral Kirk something that makes him feel young again and while the U.S.S. Enterprise is battling Khan in the nebula. But more importantly, the movie also has great acting by everybody, but especially William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, and Ricardo Montalban (Khan).

Wait until you see the courageous feat that Spock accomplishes during the movie.

Summary: The best of the best!
Review: The best Captain (or Admiral) vs. his most powerful Enemy... Very exciting and emotional. Out of all movies, this is the only one I can cuote lines from that kind of make me live the moment again. Although Admiral Kirk was victorious on this battle, at one moment he felt almost defeated when learing of the death of his best friend; Spock... When Spock tells Kirk: "You have been and forever shall be... my friend!" and when Kirk is addressing his crew... "Out of all lifeforms I have encounter on my journeys, Spock was the most... Human!" Are two lines that every time I hear them, fill my heart with emotions with the same intensity as the very first time... Even a non-Star Trek fan should enjoy this movie...

Summary: This is it this the trek film that will stand alone awsome.
Review: Any Star Trek fan will remember Space Seed the episode that pitted Kirk against his most powerful advisary Khan, but what if we do this what if we turned the ploit of Space Seed into a continuation better yet what if we make it into a movie.Nicholas Myers genious worked in this truly awsome Star Trek film.Ricardo Mantlaban reprises his role into the superhuman Khan who has been marooned on city alpha 6 , in all that time he has planed to get his revenge against Admiral Kirk for leaving him and his people stranded on the baron planet , when a crew beams down to the planet including Checkof , Khan manipulates into giveing them there ship.

And the movie becomes an intergaltic game of cat and mouse as Khan will not give up what he wants the most to kill Kirk at all costs as he spits out shakespearian quotes and the peircing close ups of his battle torn face are raw that eventuly lead to the infamous final and emotional scene of the death of....

Raw and emotional , the most intense battle scenes ever filmed for a Trek movie this movie is truly what started it all for Star Trek and was the best and most fofilling for it fans a truly epic Star Trek film.

Summary: The BEST Star Trek movie ever made!
Review: This movie is GREAT! With Khan back from the Star Trek: The Original Series, he once again battles with Capt. Kirk. The Genesis device was helpful for the storyline which pitted Kirk against his archnemesis Khan. Full of riviting action, this movie is a must for any Star Trek fan!

Summary: Star Trek -- The Wrath of Kahn
Review: This film and "Star Trek 4 -- The Voyage Home" are the two best Star Trek films. You don't even need to be a Star Trek fan to enjoy them.

Nicholas Meyer's direction really set the tone for the next few Star Trek movies. The movie has the feel of the orginal series, but with much better special effects and props.

Summary: When writing reviews, please remember Mr. Doohan
Review: Although I find Eartha Kitt to be a much more formidable villain-type actor than Ricardo Montalban, all the same I did find The Wrath of Khan to be a delight for the eyes. I think that this film is great for parents who want to traumatize their kids with images of worms and ears and charred bodies and Shatner's acting. I also want to tell all reviewers to remember the importance of Mr. Doohan as Scottie. His acting when talking about Mr. Preston really... touched my heart in ways I can't even begin to describe. Also, I think Chekov is Russian.

Summary: KHAAAAAAAN! KHAAAAAAAAN!
Review: Considered the best Star Trek film to date. The film is a virtual Horatio Hornblower in outer space. Wrath Of Khan is a gripping adventure reminisent of a 1957 WWII film "The Enemy Below." Ricardo Montalban is superb at Khan Noonan Singh, genetically modified super madman from the late 20th century. Awoken on a sleeper ship in the 23rd century by Capt Kirk and crew, only to be exiled on unstable planet. Khan seeks revenge on Kirk in the worst way, as he hijacks a Federation starship as well as a device that could literally destroy the galaxy. The best line in the film:

Admiral James T. Kirk: Khan, you bloodsucker! You're gonna have to do your own dirty work now, do you hear me? Do you? Khan: Kirk! You're still alive, old friend! Admiral James T. Kirk: Still, "old friend!" You've managed to kill everyone else but like a poor marksman, you keep missing the target. Khan: Perhaps I no longer need to try, Admiral. [beams the Genesis device away] Admiral James T. Kirk: Khan... Khan, you've got Genesis, but you don't have me. You were going to kill me, Khan. You're gonna have to come down here. You're gonna have to come down here. Khan: I've done far worse than kill you, Admiral. I've hurt you. And I wish to go on hurting you. I shall leave you as you left me, as you left her: marooned for all eternity in the center of a dead planet, buried alive. Buried alive. Kirk: KHAAANNNN! KHAAANNNN!

Wrath Of Khan also stars Kristie Alley (of Cheers, and Veronica's Closet). It was Krisitie's 1st roll on the big screen, playing Lt. Saavik, Spock's protegee. Great acting by Montalban and terrific over-acting by Shatner. Star Trek II is a tour de force. A must have for the Trekkie and sci-fi collector.
