Summary: It had its moments, but..
Review: Although this movie did have some good aspects and a few good scenes, it was obviously just an attempt to just get one last next generation movie out there. Crusher and La Forge are blatantly overlooked, which is insulting, considering both LeVar Burton and Gates McFadden are both wonderful actors and it would have been great to see more of them. The plot was fairly weak, especially the addition of Data's "brother", which seemed totally unnecessary, even though they tried to connect it to the plot. The special effects and music are awesome, though, and as an avid Janeway fan, I must say I enjoyed Kate Mulgrew's acting talents, even if I wasn't (and still am not) sure that I wanted her away from the captain's chair.I'd have to say its a fun movie to watch once or twice, but it's not something you want to see repeatedly.

Summary: the best of the best!
Review: despite the bad (and many stupid)comments about this film i found out after ignoring the spiteful and idiotic reveiws that star trek nemesis was a good all round action packed adventure movie with all the things that make star trek great. star trek nemesis boldly gets better and better as the film goes on, the acting was brilliant, and altough many of the lead roles looked much older, it was great to see them once again on the bridge of the Enterprise-E fighting a truly awsome villan. not as good as star trek first contact but much better than insurrection and one of the better films in 2002, star trek nemesis gets my vote of brlliance. all thats left to say is, roll on number 11 and live long and prosper.

Review: I'm not sure about everyone else but I loved this movie, I thought it was the best one they've done so far. There was much more action and it kept me on the edge towards the end. I rate it 5 out of 5.

Summary: Star Trek's own NEMESIS
Review: This movie is it's own worst enemy. As an avid Star Trek fan of over 30 years, I was very much looking forward to this movie. Now, I wonder why. The cast looked old, tired and just plain done. There were scenes of dialoge that just seemed to wonder on forever and at times I found myself thinking...jeeez can we move on now. The battle scenes are impressive however and the Enterprise-E gets a good workout. If your an avid Star Trek fan, Nemesis is a must to complete your movie collection. If your just a regular sci-fi fan, find something better to spend your money on.

Summary: Best Star Trek film since The Wrath of Khan
Review: Great story, excellent graphics, and the best battle scenes to date. I did not much care for B-4, but other than that it was even better than I had hoped it would be. If you are a Star Trek fan then you will not be disappointed, if you are not a Star Trek fan then there will never be a better time to start than with this movie. Without a doubt the BEST Star Trek film.

Summary: Worse than "Star Trek the Motion Picture"
Review: This movie proves than money can't buy everything. It had some decent special effects but no decent storyline or dialog. At the beginning of the movie, we find Picard standing on an alien planet with Data-like android parts scattered in 4 or 5 places - an arm here, a leg there, and a head somewhere else. Picard says "Something isn't right about this." Really, Jean-Luke? What was your first clue? I think the disembodied android was a metaphor of the movie to come. The rest of the movie was just as disjointed and never came together. Maybe the android was in one piece before the editors started whacking away.

Summary: don't end it on such a bad note
Review: right off the bat, let me say, this is an enjoyable film. Despite the miserable reviews it has been getting, it is my second favorite TNG movie, next to First Contact. This was intended to be the last one with TNG's crew, (As was that lame fifth one.) but because of its bad reception, I hope that they will do what they did in 91. Because of the failure of "The Final Frontier" Paramount brought back the director of the most successful classic Trek movie (Nicolas Meyer) to help make one last movie to make up for it. I heard that they are already planning for an 11th movie, about which, I know little. I hope that this isn't TNG's swan song, it would ... to see such a brilliant cast of characters go out on this note. I want to see Jonathan Frakes return to direct on more TNG movie. That time around, while seeing the awesome special effects that Nemesis boasts will help, it must also incorporate a better script and more original plot. Yes, Nemesis DID borrow too much from Wrath of Khan. That done, it would be interesting to see what direction the franchise goes. Seeing as to how Deep Space 9 Voyager and Enterprise were never popular enough to spawn any movies, they should explore new realms. Maybe make some movies all about the Klingons- and get themselves an R rating! I am just throwing out some ideas here, because after this poorly recieved movie, the franchise has no where to go but up.

Summary: Such a pity
Review: Such a pity that the occasionally great STAR TREK series of movies had to peter out with this pedestrian offering. A contrived plot with few credible links to earlier TREKS, a cast that looked like it desperately wanted to be somewhere - anywhere - else and a villain who only lacked a mustache to twirl to be the cliche movie bad guy (though wotizname's performance in the role was actually a highlight among lotsa lowlights). Once upon a time STAR TREK (i) had ethical values it adhered to; (ii) had production values (iii) was either moving or funny depending on the mood of the movie or (iv) was sometimes all of the above. The aptly named NEMESIS, however, lacks values of either kind and is about as funny as a dead fish. One possible plus: notwithstanding the claims that this is definitely the last TREK movie, there were plenty of opportunities for another, which would just about have to be an improvement. Even killing Data needn't be permanent since B4 (admittedly presently about as smart as B1 and B2, the Bananas in Pyjamas) can obviously be given a bit more RAM and a faster CPU and seeing as how he's conveniently got Data's memories, we can have Data back. (But memo make-up: Brent Spiner is aging fast).

Summary: On auto-pilot....
Review: THe trouble with this movie is that it seem to be run in auto-pilot. It looks more like an TV episode with extra-budget than a real feature film. I liked INSURRECTION much more. Of course, we're dealing here with charismatic characters that we all love, so we tend to be kind to the movie flaws. And there are not many. THe plo, altough its resemblanc with THE WRATH OF KHAN, is good. The acting is fair. It's just the "feeling" that is not right, I can not explain it properly... Something is wrong here...

Review: AVERAGe in every department: plot, acting, special effects. YOu'll get absolutey nothing more than average quality to this picture. It's not bad, but I forgot about it as soon as I walked out from the theater, contrary to other films in the series.
