Summary: I wish my snow days would've been that cool
Review: "Snow Day" centers around a bunch of kids who aren't sick, but they are sick of school. They live in upstate New York, so it would have to snow a whole lot for schools to be cancelled due to the white stuff. But it would be a dream come true if only classes were closed for a day or two. Well, that just happens when all of a sudden, it snows several inches, closing the schools. But how long will schools be closed? Oh yeah, and don't forget that anything can happen on a snow day."Snow Day" has several subplots aside from schools just being closed. Chevy Chase stars as a meteorologist who envies a more popular weatherman, one guy will stop for nothing on his way to try and earn a date with his dreamgirl, and a few kids don't like the snow plow man. Since I live in the southeast, it doesn't take much more than just a few snow flakes to make everybody head to the grocery stores and to shut just about everything down. When I used to be in school, I had a few snow days, but none of them were as action-packed as the one in "Snow Day" the movie. "Snow Day" isn't a bad movie, but it is more geared towards the younger generation that can still enjoy the benefits of a real snow day, but adults can enjoy the movie too.

Summary: Great Wintertime Movie!
Review: Highly recommend this movie for those that love winter (and snow!). This movie reminds all of us parents of when we would wish for a "snow day" and what it was like when you finally got one! Love the mom struggling with the kid at home and trying to get work done. I like the "romance" trying to bloom in the teens and the young kids ganging up on the snowplow man! What a hoot! My kids (ages 8 and 13) absolutely love this movie - don't listen to all the negative - enjoy the movie for what it is - a great wintertime getaway movie. (Only minus - wish there was more of Chevy Chase.)

Review: I don't think anyone over the age of 12 should be so critical in rating this movie because it is intended for kids. If your child loves the t.v. channel Nickelodeon, they are sure to love this movie seeing as it's made by them. It stars teenagers, but is for kids. The teenage boy has a crush on the popular girl. When a snow day hits and his sister keeps saying "Anything can happen on a snow day," He decides to take his chances. He spends the whole day trying to impress her while his sister and her friends try to stop snow plow man from ruining it. Stars Chevy Chase as the dad and weather man. Other movies reccommended are "Harriett the Spy," "Good Burger," and "The Rugrat's Movie."

Summary: "Snow Day: BIG Bore and WASTE of Money"
Review: I first saw Snow Day in theaters two days after it came out. It wasn't that funny but quite entertaining and enjoyable. After it came out on DVD, I took it just to remember what it was like. BORING! It's completely a waste of time. And it's plain stupid. ... I returned the movie as soon as I watched it for the second time.
Folks, do not rent this movie. AND DO NOT BUY! ...

Summary: Snow Day...How appropriate is this movie?
Review: I recently watched "Snow Day", and I must say I enjoyed the film. It actaully had me throroughly invovled on a Sunday afternoon, recovering from the night before. One reason why i was so involved was because of the young starlet who plays the crush of one of the main characters. She was stunning, but i did notice something that parents might want to consider:
While at her window, this young lady is in nothing but her Pj's, which consist of a white, spaghetti string tank top...no bra underneath. Well, anyway, i had no problem with this, but i think that parents might not want their kids to see the nipples of a young woman in a movie directed towards their kids. Again though...good movie, i loved the window part...but some might object.

Summary: Can't every day be a snow day?
Review: I thought this was a great movie for kids and for adults. I really enjoyed the antics of the kids and the sweet, budding relationship between two childhood friends. The little brother in this movie was extremely funny and Claire and her exboyfriend were a riot. This is a great winter movie to snuggle in with and watch with the whole family.

I've always liked Chevy Chase; and snow at Christmas time. So, if you don't get the snow you wanted for Christmas, watch this movie! There's plenty of it in here. Ages of kids in this one range from pre-school to pre-teen to teen.
