Summary: la ley at their absolute best!
Review: I've had the CD for quite some time and the replay value is still very high. The talent these guys have, especially Beto's voice is unbelievable. They impressed the heck out of me in this performance. All the instruments and back up vocals are captured in the best quality I think you can get. The CD sounds great, I can only imagine what the DVD is going to sound and look like. I can't wait!

Review: Thank you for sharing such a great performance. Not always you get an opportunity to see artists such La Ley. Unplugged was made for artists like them.
Great LIVE performance.
From the moment Beto grabbed that microphone, I was amazed. I had listened to the album (several times, i might add); however, i didn't think the LIVE performace was going to be so great.
No words to explain how these guys give everything they have when they are on stage. Class, talent, great vocals are just a few of the words that come to my mind when I watch the concert. This is my second time I've seen La Ley perform LIVE. The first one was about 9 or ten years ago in Vina del Mar Music Festival, Chile. Since then, these guys have grown so much. And it shows. It definitely shows.
Not only Beto's voice was great, but the rest of the band played excellent. If you don't know much about La Ley, this is a great opportunity to see what they are made of.
Although most of the songs are in Spanish, Beto got to sing in English and French as well. You will love it.
If you are a fan, seeing these guys play LIVE will make you like them even more.
I think this concert is what MTV had in mind when they created "Unplugged." This is when you get to know how good an artist is. And La Lay proved they belong with the big guys.
Grammy winners (UNO) and an English soundtrack (Crazy Beautiful), I think we haven't seen all of it yet. I can't wait for a crossover album.
Buy it. Watch it. And have fun!

Summary: The best work yet of La Ley.
Review: There's no doubt that 2001 was their year. They won a Grammy award and performend this excellent show with Mtv.
On this DVD you can see the whole show without cuts. The production it's purely first class, from the song selection and the duet with Ely Guerra on "El duelo". You can find one song in English and another in French besides their hits in Spanish. The sound is very good, the chours are also great. Everything is very good. As a matter of fact this is one of the best Mtv Unpluggeds ever in the Latin category.Besides the show you can find lyrics in english and other special features.

Review: This DVD is really, really good. The picture quality obviously is excellent not to mention the sound quality. Even if your not a LA LEY fan you will still love this dvd. It has english subtitles for all the songs. Also bonus features and behind the scenes on the making of it.

Summary: The oracle of rock en español
Review: This is one of the best performances in the music industry period! The acoustics and the lyrics blow away any individual who listens to their music. Many new comers to La Ley (including myself) do not expect much of them, but from the moment the guitars, the drums, and the lyrics are mixed together, you begin to zone out, an effect only the greatest music can produce. Some music takes a while to get into, but finally you love it; other you love from the gecko. You will feel the music running through your spine from the first time you hear it. For years many of us have been waiting for the DVD version to be released, and finally here it is. Enough said!

Review: Whether or not you are a fan of rock en espanol or La Ley, there is NO question in my mind that one view of this incredible performance would leave any music fan impressed. The range of Beto Cuevas's voice never ceases to amaze me, and to hear him replicate performances equal to or better than those he already laid down in the studio is astounding. I can't say enough good things about this Unplugged, and for it to finally come out in DVD has me asking just one thing: what took so long?? A MUST HAVE for any music collection!
