Review: My 6 year old daughter loves to see the PBS "Wishbone" episode of Joan of Arc in the afternoons, so when this movie with LeeLee came on TV we watched it. She became so interested in Joan that we had to order two new BEAUTIFUL Joan of Arc books from Amazon (age 9-12 category--she reads far beyond her years). What a treat to find this video to give her for Christmas. What a great female role model.

Summary: I love this movie!
Review: I love this movie so much. I watched it in seventh grade for my Social Studies class. My friends and I enjoyed it so much. We were all crying at the end when they burned her at the stake. Even the guys in our class seemed moved by it. The only complaints I have heard about the movie was that they didn't like how Joan acted, and they thought that she made bad decisions. Well I have news for you. The movie is a true story, they can't change the way she acted. I thought Leelee Sobeski did an awesome job. All in all, I loved this movie. It is my favorite movie of all time.

Review: This film is vastly superior to the most recent release of "The Messenger." The period clothing and armor are very realistic and the action scenes are superb. As a historian, I truly believe the director portrayed Joan as she was supposed to be...an icon for France. The battle scene for "Les Tourelle" is one of the best I have seen in quite a while. Enjoy the show...

p.s. Loved the movie... I saw "The Messenger" and it was awful by comparison. Watch this one instead...

Summary: Yes, a very inspirational movie!
Review: WOW! A movie that Hollywood didn't mess up! This movie had all the things that people have a hard time locating. I was impressed with all aspects...History, Charactors, Meaning, Cinematography, etc. Some movies you see once and say "that was good".....well, this movie, you say "that was GREAT!".....BUT, it gets better each time you see it. Just like the reviews before mine, you need to see this on DVD with all the great features like letterbox, cast, and other special informative info.

Review: I watched the movie Joan of Arc and thought it was excellent! I was moved to the point of tears by the end. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and I think Leelee Sobieski played the part very well. It is apparent throught the movie that she put her heart and soul into playing Joan of Arc!

Review: joan of arc tv movie was a big disappointment. they made her seem like an imputent little child. she never tried to go for what she wanted but what she did was god acting in her done out of pure love for God. she felt totally free to advide that jerk of a king how behave like a king.
