Summary: See this if you've seen "Life or Something Like It"
Review: Angelinia Jolie is a great actress with terrible taste in choosing films. Her dreadful "Life or Something Like It" is godawful. As an antidote, "Gia" shows Jolie's acting ability, and is a gritty, sensual and brilliantly tragic movie. Jolie plays Gia, based on a real model. If you don't like "She dies, the end," films, this will be way too sad. If you like looking at lives that are way weirder than yours, this is a great movie. In any case, in this movie you can't take your eyes off Jolie.

Summary: BEST JOLIE FLICK EVER
Review: This it the best movie i've ever seen Angelina Jolie in. It had some of the best and most genuine lesbian scenes I've ever seen in a mainstream movie. Jolie's naked scenes didnt hurt either.

Summary: I cried during the last 15 min
Review: finally a couple of georgious lesbian characters played by people who could both act.

Summary: Those Lips
Review: I am not sure she could do anything wrong in my eyes in the way of acting that is. And I could die for those lips. Good movie better on DVD you can then watch it as much as you like, with extra plus parts.

Summary: Excellent!
Review: By the end of this movie I was sobbing like a baby. They took the stereotypical glamourous life-style, painted it with reality and showed the true story of a beautiful woman who's life was cut short tragically by an addiction to heroin. Angelina Jolie did a fabulous job (as always) playing Gia, and this is definitely my favorite movie with her in it so far.

I'd reccomend this one to just about anyone- men and women alike will be moved by this movie.

Summary: An intensive Angelina as Gia!
Review: It was so heartbreaking to witness Gia achieve wealth & fame only to live a self-destructing life. She may have had carried excess baggages from the past which she couldn't unload, but her unruly lifestyle not only continuously hurt the people around her but most importantly herself, which led to her own demise. We are not here to judge what kind of person she was & what kind of life she lived. True, the modelling world is a glamorous world...a world of make believe. But Gia & the others are real people with real problems. They are made even more vulnerable with their fame, isolation & competition. Her sad plight only proves that happiness cannot be bought nor fame can yield.

Summary: Very Good
Review: Ok if you dont mind a movie about a beautiful women, junkie, model, and a lesbian this one is great! Angelina is awesome! (but when is she not?) you really feel like you get to know Gia in a way. The ending is really sad a shocking so prepare yourself!

Summary: good film, lame DVD
Review: The 2-star rating of this DVD refers not to the content of the film - I mean, an oft-naked Angelina Jolie playing a supermodel lesbian junkie, what could be more entertaining? - but to the DVD itself. First, the film was made for TV, so the aspect ratio is the same for the video release and the disc, and the quality is exactly the same. Second, there are virtually no extra features save for a photo gallery of model shots in the film, the usual cast and crew bios which are easily accessible at the Internet Movie Database, and language selection. I was at least expecting a making of documentary or interview or commentary or SOMETHING. While having chapter selection makes skipping to wonderful scenes like Gia's test photo shoot, her first encounter with Linda and the "I do be the pittiest girl" studio 54 scene with Jolie snorting coke and Dancing With Myself on the soundtrack easier, there are only 15 univentively titled chapters, which for a 2 hour movie is not a whole lot. Lastly, and most importantly, this is not the unrated version of the film!! You are missing 6 full minutes of nudity and Angelina Jolie-style lesbian love in this version. I recommend getting the unrated video instead and skipping the DVD or for you fanatics, investing in both.

Summary: A very well handled film
Review: I mentioned in my rating of When Night is Falling that I had two favorite lesbian movies...I forgot to mention this one...This one was very well acted by Angelina Jolie, who seems very comfortable being with a girl...and it was refreshing to see that 3 fav films 'Gia' 'When Night is Falling' and 'Lost and Delirious'these ones are the intense ones I like
