Review: This is the kind of series that really grows on you.

I missed seeing the Larry Sanders Show when it was first broadcast. I started liking it when a local station aired it late on Saturday nights. And now that I've seen the DVDs I can truly say that this is among the best series of any kind ever broadcast.

This show has it all: compelling characters, engaging plots, and very funny lines! It has the kind of subtilties you usually only find in great art, while still being witty and never dull. Most of those "cutting edge" HBO and Showtime programs are really just self-satisfied pretentious crap--but don't put "Larry Sanders" in that category.

I can't wait for all the seasons to come out on DVD!

Seriously, this is the smartest, funniest TV program of the last 10 years. The quality of the writing is sky-high and never lags in any episode. It's a goldmine of comedy.

If you've never seen it, buy it. You will not regret the purchase.

The other seasons NEED to come out on DVD. I would pay absurd, ridiculous amounts of money for them.

Please, God, HBO, Garry Shandling, whoever has the power: bring the rest of this show to DVD!!!! Please! I'm begging here! I'm on my knees!
