Summary: The Best Show on Television
Review: Okay, let's start off with just saying that I started watching Sex and the City during it's fourth season. After I saw a few episodes, I went to Best Buy and bought The Complete First & Second Seasons of Sex and the City.

My eyes were glued to the tv. Side-splitting humor combined with four sexy women and I say you have a winner. One episode after another after another. It never gets old. This show really explores sexuality and what women think about it. I find this show very informative yet funny. Sometimes, I even forget I'm watching a show. I feel like I'm in NYC, with the ladies, talking about sex.

When The Complete Third Season came out on DVD, I bought it the first day it was for sale. Still great sexual humor. I couldn't get enough of it. But in the third season, the show started showing a more dramatic side of the characters. Not that I'm saying its bad, I just like it when you can have humor with information, with drama. And not too much drama, just enough.

As I was watching The Complete Fourth Season, I began to realize, I'm starting to connect with these characters. Thats amazing!

I highly anticipate the fifth and sixth seasons on DVD. The fifth season was short but sassy and comedic. Although I have only seen the first 5 episodes of the sixth and final season, I'm sure it'll be just as good or even better then the last 5 seasons. Though it will be sad to see the ladies go, I'm hoping they'll make a Sex and the City movie, or something to keep us SATC fans going.

So if you're out there...contemplating whether or not you should buy any of the show's DVDs, don't think twice about it, order them NOW. I recommend you order all so you can get the full "dose" of the show. So please, order the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth seasons of this wonderful and fabulous show.

Summary: AWESOME!
Review: This is my absolute favorite show in the world first of all. I think it is hilarious! I don't have HBO so I started buying the seasons on DVD and fell in love with the series. I hate to see it end this year. This set (the 4th season) I really liked. The shows were so funny and I love that they brought Aidan back. The shows with Carrie in the country were hysterical. I recommend this set for anyone who likes the show. You won't be able to stop watching them.

Summary: Must Have! Must Have!
Review: If you're a die-hard fan of Sex and the City (SATC), you must own all the released complete seasons (either the VHS version or the DVD version)! The fourth season was when things started to change for Miranda, dramatically, and all the other girls sexpecades started to heat up also.

Summary: I LOVE SEX AND THE CITY
Review: Oh why, oh why don't I have HBO!! I love this show and every time I think, gah I am so behind everyone else and just forget about it, a new DVD is released! I am addicted again. Hilarious and true! Only problem, when is the next one coming out :)!

Summary: One of my favorite seasons...
Review: Season four would have to be one of my favorite seasons of S&TC...In this season, the characters become a little more developed and grow in ways that one wouldn't expect...Carrie settles down and moves in with Aidan (the episode when they first move in is one of my favorites). Miranda gets pregnant and begins to learn that she has a maternal side after all. Samantha actually falls in love, and is content with just one man. Charlotte learns that finding the perfect husband doesn't guarantee a happy ending.

Season four is not as funny or as provocative as other seasons, but fans of the show will appreciate the warmth and depth of the characters.

Summary: As always....
Review: These girls NEVER disappoint!! Season 4 is as good as all the others. If you are a fan of this show having the complete series on DVD is a must! Watching it again and again just gets funnier each time.

Summary: it pains me
Review: to only give this season four stars, but i am praying that someone from hbo actually reads these(of course they don't, but i can hope) and will hear me out when i demand that they have a "play all" button on each disc! i love to watch the show when i'm getting ready to fall asleep, and having to click menu and what-not after every episode ruins my hopes of falling asleep. so PLEASE put a "play all" button on each disc. it would make me so happy.
this is the greatest show on television right now(although six feet under does make it a tight race). and i've noticed that the people who dislike the show, or this season, are either complaining that the characters have no personality or that the personalities changed. both of these are fallacies, the fact that people would argue both sides cancells out the other, and bwah! sex and the city is amazing.
'nuff said.

Summary: Good show
Review: I got this for one of my housemates. She loves it. I watched a few episodes and its pretty good, and easy to get into since I'd never seen an episode prior to these.

Summary: Not that good
Review: I was so disappointed in Season 4. I am a huge fan of Seasons 1-3 (even Season 5 was not so bad in comparison to 4). Ugh. This one is just a waste of time and money. Like several others have mentioned, the writers did not stay true to the characters. It was like they thought the original setup was boring or something, so they tried to reinvent the show.

The Miranda storyline was the worst. Not believable at all, plus it was a drag. I'm sorry, but I watch this show to laugh and have a good time, not get bogged down with the woes of pregnancy. If I wanted that, I'd flip over to "Lifetime Television for Women." The Carrie-Aidan thing felt like a rerun of Season 3, minus the laughs. They made Big needy and whiny, not the cool, aloof guy we're used to.

And also -- I know the show is called "Sex and the City" but did anyone else feel like the sex completely overpowered Season 4? It was WAY more graphic than the other seasons (the squirt, Miranda and the marathon runner, etc.) I got a little tired of it.

One to avoid.
