Summary: one interesting tidbit from the writer's commentary
Review: I did not really appreciate Sex and the City until watching every episode sequentially on DVD. HBO tends to air random episodes out of sequence after their first showing and the show never really grabbed me until I discovered that there is actually plot and character development over time and not just endless brunches and mindless sex talk. For example, I did not know that Big appeared in the series from the beginning, and I never knew that Aidan and Carrie had been engaged before I started watching the DVDs from the beginning.

Anyway, that being said, I love this series and I would encourage anyone who has seen a few episodes and wondered what the fuss is about to take the time to watch the show from the beginning.

The Writer's Commentary on a few episodes on this DVD is generally not worth the price of the DVDs, in my opinion. He rarely tells us anything we couldn't notice ourselves, however, I had always wondered about the incident where Trey gives Charlotte a cardboard baby, which I understood as a plot device but thought was too tasteless a gesture to be plausible. I should have guessed that the "Cardboard Baby" was based on an actual experience and an example of truth being stranger than fiction.

Summary: Quality show
Review: This is my favorite show and most likely will be for many years to come. I have never seen a show more honest and respectful in it's portrayal of women. For example "COULD, WOULDA, SHOULDA" flawlessly deals with a topic as sensitive as abortion with grace, wisdom and most importantly fairness. I will always love this show for that. It's also refreshing to see that the main character does not look like the typical hollywood leading lady. Other strong episodes include; "THE REAL ME", "BELLES OF THE BALL" and " SEX AND THE COUNTRY" (very funny).

Each of the characters are amazingly well played by the actresses. SJP is amazing. If you watch her closely you will see so much detail in her expressions and movements, truly talented. Cynthia Nixon is so great because she isn't afraid to show it like it is. Kim Catrall is a great comedian and Kristen Davis plays Charlotte perfectly.

Something else that's worth mentioning is the music in this entire series. It's very fitting and well planned out.

I absolutely recommend this show. My boyfriend who rarely watches T.V let alone a show about women loves this one. When asked he said that even though this show is funny it always ends with something to reflect on. I can't say enough good things about this show, watch it and you will know what I mean.

Summary: Before you buy...
Review: HBO Video plans to release a "super-premium" Sex and the City collection before Christmas. Although all seasons for the show are now available, according to an HBO spokesperson the premium set will feature the complete series along with additional content and DVD extras not available on the originals. Also look for new disc art and lavish packaging that is being developed with "an eye for the collector."

Summary: A girl who lived in her shoes
Review: Sex and the city is one of those rare TV shows that you can watch over and over and not get tired of the episodes. This is a wonderful collection to have and the fourth season definitely deliveres some of the best episodes of the Sex collection.
It's good to watch alone and with friends, even if only for the fashion ~sigh~
Buy it and enjoy it.

Summary: Great for Dates
Review:
There has never been a more perfect show to watch for couples who are in intimate relationships than SATC. It is a divine mix or funny and sexy and great dialogue and pretty people. It makes an exquisite first feature in a double feature, especially with other erotic movies like "Last Tango in Paris" or "Goddess Worship" or "New Sex Now."

Thank heaven for Sex and the City.

Summary: Chocolate.... Not better than this 'Sex'
Review: This is such a great season of 'Sex and the City'. Carrie realizes she still has feelings for Aidan and wins him back after the opening of his bar with Steve. Charlotte and Trey decide they need to seperate only to discover that their sex life is great once they seperated. They then try to have a baby. Miranda finds out she's pregnant just when Charlotte discovers she may not be able to have children. Miranda considers having an abortion, but realizes she couldn't do it. Samantha has a relationship with a woman painter but gets fed up when all they do is 'take baths and talk about feelings'. Her next relationship is with a businessman who at first doesn't take her seriosuly, but when she shows him she's got 'balls', he hires her and she begins to fall in love with him only to find out he's a womanizing jerk. Carrie and Big become friends, which is a nice change for them. There's a great episode when Carrie and Aidian are at his country house and Big comes. The fight between Big and Aidian is classic stuff. 'Sex and the City' keeps getting better and better.

Summary: One of the Best Seasons
Review: I think Season Four is one of Sex and the City's best seasons. I felt all kinds of emotions during this season. If you're going to buy just one season, I'd recommend Season Four! Season six is good too though!

Summary: Completely Obsessed
Review: I love "Sex and the City". The funny thing is I really didn't watch it until after it got canceled. Anyways, here's what happened.

Carrie(Sarah Jessica Parker)joins a fashion show. Then she and Aidan get back together. They get engaged and she hurts him...again.

Samantha(Kim Cattrall)dates a woman named Maria. Then she falls for Richard, her boss.

Miranda(Cynthia Nixon)gets pregnant and almost has an abortion.
In the end, she keeps the baby. She and Steve have a son named Brady Hobbs.

Charlotte(Kristin Davis)gets back together with Trey. They tried to have a baby, but fail. Trey decides not to have a baby.
And they end up apart again.

This is the funniest season of "Sex and the City". I can't wait to see seasons 5&6. Enjoy!
