The bond that Liz and Max share is enough to get you hooked. You never know if they are going to fight for their love or give up. Roswell on DVD in 2004-BUY IT. I am!

Review: I would never have thought in my wildest imagination that a television show could capture my heart with the intensity like this little show has done. I have every episode on tape (at least once) and am thrilled to finally have availability to add DVD to my collection. This show is just a constellation of magic that has me totally hooked. I give it a 5 plus.

Review: I am so excited about getting my copy of Roswell on DVD. I was obsessed with this show during its short run on the WB, I was even fortunate enough to meet the cast! This show is a really good drama/comedy with just enough sci-fi flair. It has its cheesy moments, which only make it better. You won't be disappointed!

Review: I have been anticipatin this moment for sooo long. I am happy I will now be able to watch Roswell in Digital quality with no commercials. Taped episodes will become a part of the past. Thank you to Jason Katims and all the staff that made such an incredible show. I will forever be a Roswell Fan. A note to the WB, How can they wonder why there male viewing population has dwindled, it's because they make BAD decisions regarding good shows. Their all about the moment, ratings of a new show will always be higher than that of an older one, but throwing out great shows for instant ratings hurts them in the long run. I visit the Crashdown and many other great Roswell fan sites and Roswell is still alive in the hearts of all those who love it, while the WB is going down the drain. A hard lesson learned I suppose. I cannot wait to get this DVD.. Loyality is the greatest of all traits.

Review: I've been a huge fan of the show since it started, and I was completely crushed when the show ended. I've been waiting a really long time for them to release a dvd set for the show. The show was brilliant, it had great acting, and great writing. You completely fell in love with the characters. I actually became a fan of most of the actors too, especially Shiri Appleby. She did a really excellent job. I've never seen an actress who looked so in love with the person who was playing her love interest. The whole cast was great!!! It's a must see show. It has a little bit of everything, love, action, and drama. I'd definately give it 5 stars. This is one of my favorite shows of all time; along with Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Summary: Not for the discriminating viewer
Review: While fans who watched and enjoyed the tv show may do well to order the Roswell seasons on DVD, I would just like to warn newbies about the many faults of this show. The largest problem with this show is that it is very poorly written. While the dialogue is normally decent and can be occasionally witty, the plot lines attempt to take on X-files proportions without even a tad of the intelligence of that famous show. There is no pseudo-science in Roswell to make these plots credible, and it seems the writers had little regard for one episode to make sense in context of a previous or future episode. The demise of this show cannot be relegated to the frequent occurence of the first season being great and the subsequent seasons declining in quality. All of the seasons are bad. In addition, one of the main themes of the show, the relationship between Max and Liz, feels very contrived from the beginning. Add to that atrocious villains (at one point there is an alien enemy who takes the form of a 14 yr old boy, and is accompanied by his middle-aged mom-they make quite the terrifiying couple)and an inability to resolve difficult plot lines satisfactorily (look at the way they take care of Tess)and you end up with a pretty bad show. I found the show very disappointing, especially since it was a great idea and Jason Katims had been responsible for such authentic shows like "My so called life." The only actor who's character is credible throughout the show and who's performances are quite strong is William Sadler (Shawshank redeption, Green Mile,Die Hard, etc.) as the Sheriff of Roswell. Besides that the only thing Roswell has going for it is its charisma with many viewers. Be forewarned.

Review: Overall, no show has ever moved me like this one did. Yes Season 2 and 3 might have been lacking during some episodes but overall the best short lived 3 years of tv I've ever had the pleasure of watching. The Christmas Episodes made me cry... I'm a guy for the love of God! You want something good for you and the whole family to watch? Look no further. I have never pre-ordered anything until I found out about this.

Review: Roswell was a great show with so much heart and soul. The show had everything from star crossed lovers to the rights of individuals to live peaceably amongst eachother. I can't wait for this DVD to come out and I hope we can get all 3 seasons of Roswell on DVD soon!

Review: I was HOOKED on Rosewell from the first episode - and SOOO DEVISTATED that it only lasted 3 seasons! I'm VERY happy they're releasing this on DVD!!! I can't wait to get my copy - hope you'll buy it too so they'll bring out Season II and III!!........
