Rating: Summary: Best season of Futurama ever!! Review: This is my favorite season of Futurama, because it has some of my most favorite episodes ever. They are:
The Luck of the Fryrish
Parasites Lost
Insane in the Mainframe
Roswell that Ends Well
If you own Family Guy or the Simpsons on DVD, then you better buy this because it's a great addition to your TV collection.

Rating: Summary: Can't get enough of that Futurama! Review: This is the third season, 22 episodes on 4 discs, with extras, audio commentary on all episodes and much more. These are some of the best episodes, with Amazons, parasitic worms, the return of Sanata, penguins, evil brains, Hollywood magic, insane robots, buggalo herds, an army of Lucy Liu robots, blernsball, 1947, and cooking! Even the warnings and ratings at the start of each DVD is great.
But of course, what I wanted was Bender. Bender as god, Bender meeting God, Bender as a Iron Cook, Bender as a folk singer, Bender as the Tin man, Bender as a father, Bender as a Pharaoh, Bender as an insane bank robber, Bender as a penguin, and Bender as a human.
In the commentary of episode 17, "A Pharaoh To Remember", Billy West and John DiMaggio are Fry and Bender - giving the characters a chance to talk during a commentary! And episode 19, "Roswell That Ends Well", has two audio commentaries!
I can't wait for season four!
Rating: Summary: not as great as the simpsons at all.... Review: Futurama was a great show, but season 3 saw it enter some of the overly sentimental territory that The Simpsons has been mining for the last several years.'Parasites Lost','The Luck of the Fryrish','Roswell that Ends Well','Time Keeps on Slippin',and 'Insane in the Mainframe' are highlights, and are reason enough to buy the entire season. On the other hand,'That's Lobstertainment','The Route of all Evil','Godfellas','Future Stock','Bendin' in the Wind' and 'A Pharaoh to Remember' are among the worst episodes of the series. It's hard to imagine some of the latter episodes being made by the same team who made brilliant (for the most part) season one and two episodes.
My advice would be to buy this season if you love the show (and, hey,if you love the show, you've already bought this!),but if you're a more casual fan,buy season one or two, which are both more consistently strong. When Futurama was at its best,it was probably the best thing on tv.Unfortunately, when it was at its worst,as in a few of these episodes,it was quite boring.
Rating: Summary: A Tough Review Review: I loved Futurama. It's cancellation was likely one of the few I actually cared about. This review is a tough one, though. On one hand Futurama hit some peaks in this season. Some of the episodes match anything The Simpsons could through at them, notably the award winning Roswell That Ends Well. Other stellar episodes include Fry becoming intelligent via parasites, a sentimental Fry learning how his brother dealt with his diesappearance, and the superior intellect of the Harlem Globetrotters. There are some downers, though. Another Zoidberg episode showcases why he's hysterical for one liners yet not outstanding to wrap an episode around. The same with Bender - though I tend to find him the funniest character, and some of the Bender episodes are classics, here we have some that show why Bender is often funniest as an addition to a scene rather than the scene as a whole. Overall you'll laugh very hard at this series, as long as you're a fan of the brand of humor found in shows such as The Simpsons, Malcom in the Middle and News Radio. Contrary to many opinions you needn't be a Sci-Fi fan (I loathe the stuff myself), you simply need a working knowledge of pop culture. This season falls flat at times, and lacks the overall consistency of the prior seasons (yet is more consistent than Season 4), but has peaks higher than all the prior seasons. Worth owning and watching repeatedly. Remember to watch those commentaries, too, they tend to be a bit crazy and very rewarding.
Rating: Summary: the best season Review: with "time keeps on slipping", "luck of the fryrish" and the episode where fry gets worms in this one, its the best one so far. has my three all time favorite episodes. a must have!
