Summary: The Funniest Adult Animated Series Ever ... Sorry Simpsons!
Review: Family Guy was a revolutionary series created by the genious Seth MacFarlane. The writers of this show should be commended for the time and effort they put in to the scripts. This was not an easy show to write due to the restrictions of the time slot it was in and the adult-like comedic views it portrayed. This was bar none the best animated series I've ever seen, every episode was histerically funny. If you like the Simpsons even a little bit, this is 3x more funny.

Bring back the Family Guy!
"Victory is Mine!"

Summary: Hysterical Show
Review: The title says it all. The Simpsons were popular because they took everyday family life and gave it a bent direction. Of course, that began to die off shortly after Maggie shot Burns. Family Guy goes MUCH further. The family includes a fat, dumb father (think Homer times 100), a sweet, if a little naive mother, a teenage boy who's about as smart as a box of rocks, a nerdy teenage daughter wanting to be popular, a homicidal baby (Stewie is the best part of the show), and a talking dog who's a heavy drinker.

The show is extremely raunchy, no doubt about it. The father says things most of us only say in the privacy of our own homes. One particular episode included a part where the teenage boy is told that babies come from storks. Upon hearing of this, the boy yells at his mom "You LIED! You said I came from your vagina" in front of a room full of people.

Anyways, if you're into Simpsons, Futurama or King of the Hill, this show tops them all EASILY. I think of this show along the lines of the early days of Married, with Childern when not many people even knew it existed on FOX. I'm not very philosophical, but if you're into comedy as big as I am, you'll love every moment of this show and scratch your head as to why FOX ever cancelled it. Enjoy!

Summary: Technicalities
Review: Some people describe this set as being seasons 3 and 4, others say it's just season 3. Between season 2 and 3, there was an 11 month gap (season 2 finale aired Aug. 1, 2000 and season 3 premiered July 11, 2001).

Then, after airing only the first 10 episodes from season 3, Fox suspended the show for nearly 2 months (Sept. 19, 2001 - Nov. 8, 2001). Plus, before they started airing episodes again in November, they were airing promos touting the upcoming "new season." It's confusing, I know, but I consider the show having spanned 4 seasons instead of just 3.

If you love tasteless and offensive humor, get the first DVD set and buy the second one when it's available.

Summary: Great Show, Ridiculous Price!
Review: This show will likely rerun on FX, cable has proved a show doesn't need 5 seasons to get syndicated. $... for three failed seasons, are you kidding me.

Heed my advice, spend half the money and purchase 3 seasons of Sports Night; six discs, one collection, chances are you never caught it while on ABC.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of the Family Guy, it's underrated ,unlike the Simpsons, which by all accounts hasn't been good since Maggie "killed" (shot) Mr. Burns.

I will say, Family Guy is so much better minus the comercials, and somehow its funnier on my PC than I remember being on my TV.

Review: I have read that this set will have sasons 3&4,but some people have said that season three is the last.Someone please clarify. But anyway,I have vol.1 and i must say it is one of the best dvds ever made and volume 2 can only get better. If those idiots at FOX hadn't cancelled it,I'm sure it would be just as popular as The Simpsons or King of the Hill. This is a great show and any one who wants a good laugh should buy this when it comes out.I know I will.

Summary: Can't wait
Review: First off, I just want to get this off my cheat. Seth MacFarlane has confirmed in an interview that THIS SET WILL INCLUDE THE UNAIRED "WHEN YOU WISH UPON A WEINSTEIN". So everyone who complained about it not being on the first set needs to stop complaining.

I can't wait until this comes out. This is my all time favorite TV show, and I feel the third season was when it really hit its stride. In addition to 21 episodes from season 3, this set will also include some deleted scenes from throughout the shows run. Any fan of the show needs this in their collection.

Summary: Lucky there's a Family Guy.....
Review: When I first saw this show, I couldn't get interested. Probably because I wasn't ready at the time for it's humor. But a year later I caught an episode that absolutely floored me. That episode would be season 3's "Screwed the Pooch". I laughed so hard at this one particular episode that I literally stopped breathing for a full minute. So I had to hunt the rest of them down to see what I had been missing, and have not been disappointed. I went through [alot] to get volume one (2 Best Buys and 2 Circuit Citys were sold out...they had no idea it was so popular), but I have it in all it's creamy yellow goodness. Now let's see if I can survive the laughter until September...

Summary: Better than Jesus
Review: BEST DVD EVER! I have seen all the episodes from seasons 3 and 4 on Fox, and they are pants-pissing-funny. I own Volume 1 on DVD, and it is the best DVD ever. Volume 2 can only get better, I'm getting it on Sept. 9, and everyone should to. Maybe than Fox will put it back on the air.

Summary: This one will be the best
Review: Family Guy is definitely the funniest animated show in a long time. The volume one DVD was great with the first two seasons, but if you thought that was good, you will love the next set. I have seen every Family Guy episode, and season 3 by far has the funniest episode with the most creative jokes and situations. If you are a fan of the show, don't think twice about getting this DVD, there isn't one bad episode in the set. Enjoy.
