Summary: NOT Pulp Fiction...
Review: During the week marking the 40th anniversary of JFK's assasination, I watched most of this series, "Unsolved History"'s special, and the Peter Jennings special. (I had the flu, lots of couch time.) While there is much of what could be considered speculation in this series, it is far from "pulp fiction" as another reviewer described it. (As opposed to Oliver Stone's movie, which is overwhelmingly fiction.) The Peter Jennings special mentioned did present compelling evidence of Oswald being perhaps the only shooter (or at least, the only one who hit the target successfully), but completely ignores any circumstances or testimony that potentially contradicts the "lone gunman" theory. It is told from an establishment "This is the story, stop asking questions" point of view, which is just as irresponsible as the Oliver Stone method.All in all, this series is informative and, generally, responsibly told. But... the other chapters mentioned by some reviewers here are INCENDIARY, implying that LBJ was actually BEHIND the assasination (as opposed to being merely an accessory after the fact, which is what most conspiracy theorists would believe). It wouldn't surprise me if they're being held back for legal reasons. (Oh, and the chapter about Oswald's secret lover was very tabloidish, but plausible.)

Review: I absolutely LOVE this program (though the French assassin theory really seems out there). This DVD offers alot of information and it explores the various possibilities (scenarios)as to what really happened or could've happened, or DID happen. A must for ANY and ALL Kennedy researchers.

Review: I give this one star merely for old footage used. CONSPIRACY will always sell to the popcorn public. anyone with a hint of common sense probably believes as i do that both oswald & ruby acted alone for their own selfish motives. buying gerald posner's case closed is a much better investment as is the zapruder assassination dvd(that is reality!!!!!!!!!). ALSO, if you can, watch the peter jennings special from last thursday, 11/20/03, on abc. excellent. i watched the nine part version of TMWWK last weekend, each part more ridiculous than the previous one. oswald's mistress? PLEASE.

Summary: Interesting as a study of human nature
Review: I just re-watched this on History Channel this week. The British producer sought to find "new" evidence - instead he just rounded up the "usual suspects" who have their old stories to tell. Much is made of how much Oswald (and later his wife) protested his blamelessness every time reporters were filming him, well duh how many criminals charged with a capital crime say "Yeah I did it, I'm proud and I'd do it again?" The interviews are presented without any supporting or contridicting evidence, for example the Ruby showgirl who saw Ruby & Oswald drinking together - oh yeah her friend saw it too "but she's dead now" - sounds mysterious, but that girl was just a drug addict who od'd. I liked the couple with their daughter (who was 6-7 at the time?), what-ya-know all 3 have the exact same story after 25 years. Yes, the Dallas police screwed up. They and everyone at the FBI and Secret Service was trying to cover his own butt, but that's about the level of "conspiracy" we've seen. Ps: Maria Oswald never said Lee spoke Russian like a native - actually she said his accent was so bad she thought he must be from one of the far-off republics - it was probably the first time in her life she'd heard someone speak Russian with an American accent! Pps: the mysterious "missing brain" was given to the Kennedy family, the producers chose to skip this.

Summary: You Be The Judge
Review: I must say this video is one of the most entertaining videos I have ever seen. But the seriousness of this tape haunts me to no end. The part that features funeral director Paul Groody who talks about the exhumation that was done in 1981 to confirm the identity of Oswald's body, will give you chills. This tape challenges you to look at the Kennedy assignation from many areas and not just from the Warren Commission. Because of this tape, I have purchase books that are pro-conspiracy or anti conspiracy and have learned many things about how the many factions of the US government run. This video is so good, I really hope that Turner will do an updated version of it, because I am most interested in learning what happened to the participates of this DVD. I also wish Turner will explore how and why many witnesses or people with knowledge about the assignation died between 1963 and 1978 under mysterious circumstances. I am not saying I buy Turner's conspiracy theories, but I will say this DVD will change and haunt you.

Review: I remember this series for exposing the "grassy knoll" sniper and revealing stupid lapses in secret service security and intelligence agencies'investigations.But,In the last section of the series;a expert claims that the head shot came from a sewer opening,not the grassy knoll.This series should force the gov't to do a full disclosure on the Kennedy killing to expose all lies on both sides of the debate.

Summary: provocative viewing
Review: I thought these videos were provocative. I am a native of Louisiana, lived in Dallas for several years, and was a nurse at Parkland. Among the most disturbing allegations for me are the disputed autopsy records and photos, the lack of proper Secret Service protection, Oswald's intelligence connections (alleged), the disappearance of forensic evidence, and significant unaccounted for amounts of time during which Oswald's activities are in dispute. The interviews with Drs. Wecht, Peters, McClelland and funeral home personnel are very important and disturbing from a medical perspective. I can not fathom Parkland physicians and nurses falsifing critical assasination documents. I feel certain the opposite would be true, especially involving a presidential assasination. Even for routine terminal events extensive documentation is and was required. For a problematic case, it would been more detailed. Dr. Wecht discussed the benefits of a thorough 21st century forensic examination of the case. I believe that the American public deserves this and an investigation about the lack of secret service protection for the president. I think the newest tapes regarding the alleged affair Oswald had with Judy Baker were spellbinding. She put alot of disputed time into focus. She is not an ignorant woman, naive and foolish, but not stupid. She seemed extremely knowledgable about cancer research, New Orleans, and the ramifications of testing medications on human subjects. The testing of prisoners from Angola in the Jackson State Hospital turned my stomach. Today, this action would land a person in jail or on death row. I think this tape series is well worth one's money and time.
I am certainly no "expert" in the assasination, but many of those interviewed are. The JFK assasination remains one of American'a greatest murder mysteries.

Review: i unfortunately live in england the greatest crap country on earth when it comes down to purchasing anything from your country, it's o'k' for my country to back you in the wars but when it comes down to buying anything it's not possible.
i am refering to the fact that i am as interested in probably as much as all americans in jfk's assisnation and all i want is to purchase dvd's and books on the subject but just as eveything else is banned to us in this not great britain, i cant even buy the goods that are not so secret to yourselves. geoff

Summary: Videos of the Assassination
Review: I very much enjoyed this video. I would never have guessed that JFK was assassinated from a manhole on the grassy knoll. I have never seen another video like it that shows that actual autopsy photos alongside the fakes. I might have never seen this video if my local library hadn't ordered it for me. Thanks to them and I hope you enjoy this wonderful video of an assassination.
