Summary: Good Story and Cast
Review: This is a good film about the Flying Tigers stationed in China. With John Wayne at the helm of the volunteers they dogfight their way to victory one plane at a time against the Japanese aggressors in W.W.II. before America entered the war. The film plays like a soap opera at times but good flying sequences and a script that explores the camaraderie of these men make the film very entertaining and rewarding.

Review: This is an excellent movie about the WWII group, The Flying Tigers. This movie may have its flaws, but it is very good for a movie made in the fourties. It also includes a great cast with great talents such as John Wayne. Any movie with him in it is good. :) This also has a great theme of love, courage and strength for the U.S. WWII fighter pilots defending China.
