Summary: Still so fresh!!!
Review: I am a big fan of Will Smith and The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air. This Dvd is a must for all of those who watched the show in the 90's and loved it, I kinda feel like I grew up with this show. I am glad I got it so I can pop in a disc and get my laugh on, whenever I want!!!

Summary: basically great dvds
Review: It's really nice to have these, and the dvds are basically well presented. The 'revisited' documentary on Disc 4 is enlightening and a nice extra. I'd just have liked a little more care taken with the printed episode guide: it doesn't tell us that Episode 8 is double-length (we only get that info on the screen menu); and there's no mention of the many guest stars. On the other hand, I guess it's fun to be surprised when they appear.

Summary: Culture clash
Review: Not only one of the best shows of the 90's, but demonstrated some of the significance of the young urban Hiphop culture that is here to stay. Not only was the show hilarious, but it took the responsibility to incorporate messages into many of the episodes, especially as it progressed. Not only was Will great, but the whole Banks family was composed of amazing actors, particularly James Avery and Alfonso Ribiero. It's great to see the strides that they all, not just Will, made as actors as the show kept going. Their acting was a little shaky in the first few episodes.
This first season contains many of my favorite episodes, I'm just glad that it finally came to DVD and was just $23. The DVD's are a little dissappointing. There is only one trace of bonus features, on the last disc, and each episode was not divided into scenes. The main menu is the exact same for each disc. As far as these DVD version goes, it's worth only about 2 stars. The show itself is easily worth a 5, so that's gonna be my rating. I'm really starting to take notice of how Will slowly adapts into this new lifestyle, while passing off some style and slang to the family and almost everyone he meets, everyone changing for the better. The second episode is the best one ever!

Review: this dvd collection of one of my favourite shows of all time is just great.... icannot believe the finally put the first season on dvd... now i can stop watching it on television (am i the only one that noticed that FRESH PRINCE is on like every channel EVEN TELEMUNDO!!!)
2 of my favourite episodes of all time were the first halloween episode and the classic first episode with lil' ashely rapping a the dinner table....
by this if you want to watch a classic television series....

Summary: Awesome Box Set
Review: This is an Awesome deal. I bought this set at a local Wal-Mart for arouund $20. The set came with a Commemorative DVD (Volume 1)which features two other TV shows very first episodes. Family Matter and Head of the Class. I hope they release Family Matters on dvd in the near future.
