Summary: Some of the Best...
Review: ..episodes are contained in season two. My personal favorites:

'Not Guilty' - One of the castaways might be a murdeder!- 'HE did it! HE did it!'(Gilligan)

'Meet The Meteor' - Gilligan dreams the castaways as senior citizens when a radioactive meteor lands on the island (the professor is a real 'hoot' as an old 'coot')

'Quick Before it Sinks' - The island may be sinking into the ocean. - 'Tickles my fancy' (Mr. Howel)

'Castaway Pictures Presents' - The gang makes a movie they hope will get them rescued (The scene with the professor and Ginger kissing is priceless)

As a teen growing up in the 70's, I watched Gilligan's Island after school every day for about three years, meaning I saw every episode (there were only 99 total) at least fifty times apiece, maybe more. The 'island' is still a great place to visit to get away from life's everyday stresses...

Can't wait for season 3!

Summary: Not as good as Season One, but if you love the show.........
Review: After having watched Gilligan's Island for more than 40 years since it's original CBS network debut in 1964, I can say that the show got sillier the longer it was on the air. Not to say that it wasn't always a lot of fun and entertaining. Personally, there are only about three episodes from the Season Two DVD set that I really want - You've Been Disconnected, Mr. and Mrs.???, and Will The Real Mr. Howell Please Stand Up? But as a lifelong fan of Gilligan's Island, I will definitely buy the Second Season and also the Third Season when it is made available. I certainly don't regret having already bought Season One, although I feel that it definitely showed the series at it's very best.

Summary: Complete very misleading.
Review: As an avid fan of this show, I am highly disappointed that several of the best episodes are not included on this dvd set. Therefore it is not complete.

Where is the episode where Gilligan thinks he is turning into a vampire, or the one where Maryann thinks she is Ginger. Where Ginger is Eva Grubb, where Gilligan is Dr.Jekell and Mr. Hyde. Where Harold Heckuba visits the island... come on, whats up with this?

I do hope these and several others I have not mentioned will come out at a later date. So until then, this set is absolutely not complete.

Summary: Better than season one!
Review: I've just finished watching the first side of disk one(there are three two sided disks just as in season one.) which contains the first six episodes of season two plus creator Sherwood Schwartz commentating on the episode "The Little Dictator". The color is fantastic as is the sound. The picture is so clear that you'd swear you were watching the shows in their original run. Much clearer and much more colorful than the syndicated television versions, and best of all, UNEDITED! syndication chops off probably 5 to 8 minutes of each episode. Unfortuneatley, there isn't much for bonus features, but just having each episode unedited in great color and clarity is more than enough, with a great price to boot.

Summary: Not as good quality as people say; but still good
Review: If you watch closely, you will periodically see white or black dots in the picture. Season 1 was like too. And in the episode with Russian astronauts, you can't hear the Skipper snore which is causing Gilligan to stay awake (when Gilligan says "sounds like jetplane with asthma). Later, when Gilligan is looking out the window, the snoring can be heard. I compared it to a tape from TV and you can here the snoring clearly. The DVD's are still much better than TV though.

Summary: Season 2 isn't missing an episode
Review: One reviewer mentioned there was a missing episode - #69 "Up At Bat". That was the first episode for Season 3. You will get it...but it will cost you another $27.

Summary: Season Two has some of the best shows
Review: Some of the best shows from the series are on Season number two. Wonderful show for the kids to watch.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
Review: The episode where Gilligan dreams that he is Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde actually would be number 81 "And Then There Were None". Such it will be featured on the upcoming DVD set featuring the complete third season. There is nothing missing here at all. The 32 original episodes from the show's second year are there in all their technicolorical glory!

Summary: Excellent Video/Sound Quality - Only One Gripe.
Review: The video quality of this set is outstanding. If you are Gilligan fan and have only seen the show on TV and on video tape, you are in for a treat. I am very glad they came out with this second season (in color) release.

My only complaint is this: The Disks are not labeled in any way that lets you know which you are about to insert. There are 3 disks and each is double sided. It is left for you to guess which disk you are holding. The first release (season one) had labels on the disk middles that advised which disk of the three you were picking up.

Other then this, it is very good and Gilligan is one of my families favorite series of all time. Thanks for offering it to me!

Summary: Excellent Set, Buy It Now And Enjoy
Review: Well, it took a while and it was worth the wait. The second season of our favourite sixties 'social micrososm' series is here at last. Pristine prints and fantastic intros by Sherwood Schwartz and Russell Johnson. Sherwood also provides a very entertaining commentary for 'The Little Dictator'. Sherwood also hints at further special features on season three! Can't wait!
