Summary: Rancid Bad!
Review: Every great show on DVD gets a bad review from some one: Cheers, Cosby Show, etc. But everyone loves those shows and are pointless to talk smack about. The Jeff Foxworthy Show is a riot, it is one of the funniest shows I have ever seen. It even introduced Haley Joel Osment(The Sixth Sense, Secondhand Lions). Jeff Foxworthy is the most under rated entertainer in the history of history. Hollywood has a formula and that formula is an average American family living anywhere besides the south. But what Hollywood is too stupid to realize is HALF OF AMERICA LIVES IN THE SOUTH! How about a new formula Hollywood! So check this one out it is a real treat that got cancelled early because of Hollywood! So chant with me "Hollywood is a big fat ******* pig with ******* no *****!

Love,
The Jones!

Summary: I Liked It, But...
Review: I liked this season alright, but the only complaint I had was that Jay Mohr played a irritating character. I don't think it has to do with him. I just think the character was irritating.

But what I really would like if they released the second season on DVD when they lived in the south. And Bill Engvall, I'm a huge fan of him. When Bill and Jeff are together expect hilarity. The first season was okay, but I would really love to see the second season released.

Summary: Good Start....1st year changes didn't work.
Review: I remembered this show as being kind of entertaining, so I got the DVD when it came out. The first 10 episodes are what I remembered - not bad. After that, the cast changes made the show downright awful. Jay Mohr as Jeff's brother didn't work at all, and Jeff's sister-in-law added nothing. The show seemed to quit using its best asset, Haley Joel Osment, and they dismissed the two guys that played Jeff's employees. Those guys were kind of funny. I don't remember the second season, but I'll give this first one 3 stars because half of the episodes are worthwhile.

Summary: bring us bill engvall!
Review: i want the version with bill engvall as jeff's best friend when they were actually IN the south!

Summary: Give it two and a half star...
Review: Jeff is very funny and is carrying the whole show. The characters Walt and Russ were funny and added a little bit spice to it. I don't understand why they let those guys go, because the show got bad (and my rating dropped then big time) when they replaced them with the sister and the brother. Especially the brother is not funny but annoying and the sister is quite boring. Wrong decission for the fans and the show. From then on thumbs down ... sorry

Summary: the cbs version (season 2) was much better!!
Review: the abc version where they live in indiana was lame...who cares if he's getting dissed by his rich in-laws...it was much funnier seeing them all in the south and watching his wife get used to life in a small georgia town...and bill engvall was hilarious...plus the guy that played jeff's dad--he was fabulous! so when is THAT version getting released????

Summary: Rancid Bad!
Review: Ya gotta be kiddin' me! Hey, I've lived in rural areas all my life but I still no bad TV when I see it. This turkey was about as bad as BAD could get.
As long as you're releasing tripe to consumers, why stop here? Bring on "Drexel's Class" and "Herman's Head" while you're at it!
But whatever you do, don't release "Murphy Brown" or "Home Improvement" on DVD because we wouldn't want anyone at Columbia House to start thinkin' that the buying public has any brains.
