Rating: Summary: No Johnny Rotten? Review: This season of survivor could have been much better if it had included Johnny Rotten. He was obviously one of thee most memorable and infamous characters ever on the show. The man lied about his grandmother dying to get ahead in the game. Instead the cast is filled by people like Shi Ann, who are annoying and forgetable
Rating: Summary: Just plain bad.... Review: This season of Survivor should have been the best yet. Problem is, it wasn't. Two non-tribal council episodes, the sickening sappy relationship between Rob and Ambhhaaaa... ruined the whole series. Skip this box set and watch the new season coming up.
Oh yea... Vote for Kerry, help save America.
Rating: Summary: All Stars Rules Review: This set takes you from the first episode through the surprise reunion special and beyond.
See past winners Jenna Morasca, Ethan Zohn, and Rich Hatch join fan faves Rudy Boesch and Rupert Boneham. There's a villian in Rob Mariano aka Boston Rob to boot.
It's drama, and a little bit of romance and so much more. Not your typical Survivor...that's for sure.
Rating: Summary: It Will Be Good But, Review: This will be a very good DVD set to own. I cannot wait to purchase it. Especially for the bonus footage. I'm a little disappointed they jumped straight to this season though. I hope they still release the other seasons (hopefully with bonus footage as well). This DVD set includes bonus footage and commentaries. For more information read the review at the top of the first page.
Rating: Summary: A fantastic addition to your DVD collection Review: We've all heard how "Survivor All Stars" was going to be a completely different experience...it was to be the "best one yet", the most diabolical, the craziest, the most emotional, with new twists and turns that were completely unexpected. The season lived up to that billing - thanks to incredible immunity and reward challenges, loads of backstabbing and buckets full of tears - but it was sensational to see some of the tradition that the show was built on still present (in many ways) over the course of the season. "Survivor All Stars" remains all about relationships, with a whole bunch of hot people thrown in for good measure. Loaded with hours (!) of extras, you get a great glimpse behind the scenes, the reunion special and much more. The absolute best feature for me was the audio commentary track on disc 3 with Lex, Kathy, Alisha and Shii Ann...WOW! Full of enthusiasm and energy ... and dishing out all the dirt ... those audio commentaries are worth the price alone of the entire box set. Die-hard fans and once-in-a-while viewers alike will delight in this fantastic box set. Well worth the price for seven DVDs...and really just for the extras. A great set!
