Rating: Summary: This is good only for the die hard Lucy fan. Review: Contrary to the title, this is not lost "I Love Lucy" episodes. It's Lucy and company appearing in various other shows. It's good a die hard Lucy fan, but it's not what you expect from the description
Rating: Summary: It wasn't what I expected Review: I am a Lucy fan and I own most of her collection. I bought this video thinking it would be great but the dvd skiped at the begining of the show and the show really makes no sense its a bunch of clips all put together. I would not recomend it.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful Review: I'm from Mexico and here it's not so easy to have this wonderfull episodes It's really fantastic.
Rating: Summary: This is not Lucy's lost epsides Review: It was not the lost episodes of Lucy It was segments of Lucy on different TV shows Does not show an entire episode or partial ones Very disappointing
Rating: Summary: Be prepared for a bad DVD Review: This is a very poor quality DVD. With all the advances in technology, nothing was done to improve or clean up any of these clips and/or sketches. Think very poor VHS quality!
Rating: Summary: Great for Lucy Fans Review: While the title may be somewhat deceiving (nothing on the DVD is technically episodes from any of Lucy's shows) , it's still an interesting for any Lucy Fan. This DVD features an assortment of appearances by Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz, and the other cast members of "I Love Lucy" during the early days of television. In my opinion, the highlight is Lucy's appearance on the Bob Hope Show. In the sketch, the cast performs a typical episode of "I Love Lucy" with a twist. While Lucille Ball and Vivian Vance portrays Lucy and Ethel, Ricky is portrayed by Bob Hope and Fred is portrayed by Desi Arnaz. Lucy and Desi also puts in a couple of memorable appearances on Ed Sullivan's show with hilarious results (who knew Ed Sullivan actually laughed!) There's also a really fun promotional film in which Lucy and Desi give a tour of the Desilu Studios. The picture quality is not the best, but not bad enough to where it distracts from the comedy. All things considered, I would recommend this DVD for any Lucy fan or anyone looking for some really good comedy.
