Rating: Summary: Love this show! Review: Boy Meets World is my all-time favorite TV series, and I have been waiting for it to be released since I started watching it again in syndication a few years ago. I own barely any DVD's, but I pre-ordered the 1st season of Boy Meets World the moment I found out it was available because this is a show I can watch again and again and still laugh as well as be moved by the meaningful story lines. I can't wait for the rest of the seasons to be released!
Rating: Summary: Boy Meets World Review: Boy Meets World is my favorite television show. I love the dvd. Its great because then I don't have to wait for the reruns to come on television. This is such a great show because it deals with situations that most kids deal with in their teenage years: ex. relationships, friendships, school, and issues with parents. It's a good influence on kids.
Rating: Summary: WOW!!! ITS ABOUT TIME!!! Review: Boy Meets World is one of the greatest television shows of all time. Not only is it hilarious but it teaches kids and teens so many great lessons about life. It sucks that it is going to be taken off Disney but even better that it will be on DVD. Many props to Buena Vista for releasing it. Thanks!!!!
Rating: Summary: FINALY! Review: Finaly, the dvd i've been waiting for for 5 months, is here.(in another 6 months)i'm sure that thousands of people have been waiting for this. Once i get season 1,i'll be waiting for season 2. i'm definantly gonna own the entire series once it comes out. i'm sure that when it comes out, it'll be a huge hit! Until then,i'll just watch it on tv.
Rating: Summary: "Boy Meets World" and "The Wonder Years" Review: For those who don't know about "Boy Meets World" it's a 90's adaptatation of the popular 80's show "The Wonder Years". The intersting thing about this is that the boy who played the main character in "The Wonder Years", Fred Savage, and the boy who played the main character in "Boy Meets World", Ben Savage, are brothers in real life. I grew up watching "Boy Meets World", and I find that it's probibly the best acting by a teenager I've seen since "The Wonder Years". Both shows were real good. The only thing I think that makes "The Wonder Years" better was it's ability to really capture the period in which it took place.
Rating: Summary: Worth Every Penny Review: Having grown up with Boy Meets World on the TGIF lineup, I was thrilled to see that the first season was finally to be released on DVD. Needless to say, as soon as I spotted it in the stores I snatched it up and I have to say, it was worth every cent I spent on it!
Rewatching all those episodes that I loved so much was awesome! Seeing Minkus once again was definately a great thing, as well as seeing Jason Marsden.
I loved Cory's "___ Boy!" stage that he went through ("I am Scuba Boy!" "I am Action Boy!" etc...) and, of course, Topanga's hair.
The cast commentaries on certain episodes had me laughing til my sides hurt and it's great to see that the cast members really get along. (a particular favourite of mine was Will Friedle's jabs at Matthew Lawrence throughout the commentaries. Making fun of Super Human Samurai Cyber Squad...classic!)
The bonus episode from season 4 is great. It's actually one of my favourites. It's the episode with Eric as the Good Looking Guy, so how can you not like it?
If you enjoyed this series when it was on TV then it is definately worth buying on DVD! Trust me, it's well worth it!
Rating: Summary: Childhood memories Review: I also grew up watching this show, and not being able to wait until the next episode. As I grew up, so did the characters. Not a single episode let me down, although the story may have filled me with laughter or sadness. Although they went their separate ways, I continue to watch no matter how old I may be or get. Even though the series ended, I persist in watching the re-runs every night on Fox Family. This is my number one favorite t.v. show, and I'm happy to see that I will be able to keep it with me in a DVD.
Rating: Summary: The Best Show on TV! Review: I also grew up watching this show. I was the same age as the characters on the show. I couldn't wait til Friday night so I could watch it! As the characters grew up, so did I. It seemed as if we were all facing the same problems together. After so many years on TV you feel like you're best friends with these people. I remember crying during the last episode because it felt as if my best friends were leaving. This show holds so many memories for me and will be an awesome addition to my DVD collection. I can't wait!
Rating: Summary: The TGIF days are coming back at last!!! Review: I am 14 years old, and I remember back in the good old days of ages 4,5,6, and 7, watching these shows, such as Boy meets World, Full House, Family Matters, and Step by Step. They have yet to release the other three on DVD, but when they do, I am gonna go out and buy them! If you are at least 14 or older, you will definatley relate to me when I say the days of TGIF on ABC, every Friday night, beginning at eight o' clock sharp, were the best days, EVER. Shows such as this one will send you in a time warp as you travel back in time and enjoy the memories of such a great time in American Television. I encourage those to watch VH1's, I love the 90's, in July, and I bet anything that this TGIF lineup will be in there. So, if you enjoy a great show, in a great televison era, buy this!
