Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Cutting Edge Satire
Review: This series includes a wonderful send up of Fellini and the last episode features a political campaign with the most cynical but halarious finish...this is the darkest humor - but with an accent and a smile.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great humor, very professionals people
Review: when you see them, then you will know how is life, so you better enjoy it and smile

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Hilariously ahead of its time!
Review: With the success of the BBC's "The Office" here in the US, fans of acerbic humor owe it to themselves to check out "The Newsroom." This Canadian contribution to the genre of wickedly funny workplace satires pre-dates Britain's "The Office" by a few years, but time has done nothing to take away its bite. Every character from the self-centered producer to the vacuous anchor to the put-upon intern is deftly played and gives the sharp dialogue just the right spin. This show never gained more than a minor cult following, but the time is right for a serious re-appraisal. The DVD version imrpoves on the VHS, with some nice extras, but really either verison of the show is well worth your money and (more importantly) your time.
