Review: The first Steve-O DVD was interesting, like pushing a sore tooth with your tongue is interesting--you wonder if it still hurts, and why. Still, Steve-O is a masochist, and you are interested in popular 21st century culture.The second DVD was less interesting - less of the man, Steve-O, and more of trivia. Steve-O Out on Bail is a complete waste of time and money. It's like going to a friend's house and watching two hours of home viedo. The DVD dedicates little time to Steve-O as a performer and much more time to "between the acts" footage. If you were Steve-O and one of his crew, this would be a perfect DVD, since you're following all their "adventures." If you're not a member of the crew, you'll wonder why this DVD was made, except to get money. This DVD takes all the fun and mystery out of Steve-O and turns it into what he is: a drugged-out person with an out-of-control crew. It is a home movie made for the enjoyment of the participents. It is not a DVD made for the fans. It is narcissitic, self-centered, and an insult to anyone that likes Steve-O. The first DVD in this series showed that Steve-O at least enjoyed sex... or masturbation. This DVD concentrates on scat and pissing. Perhaps Steve-O forgot what is fun and interesting to an adult. That's fine if you're 6 and giggle at words like "wee-wee". It's not fine if you're a relatively adult person and are looking for a connection with the performer. Steve-O and his crew have spun out of control with this abomination of a video. It wasted two hours of my life. Don't let it waste two hours of yours. C

Summary: Dissapointing.........
Review: The movie was good, of course it was good it was Steve-O, but It was dissapointing because when you see a movie titled Steve-O Out On Bail you think you'll be watching a movie where Steve-O is there all the time. But we don't see Steve-O as much as we see the other people in the video. That was not the only bad thing about this movie. Another thing was that It wasn't all about stunts and causing trouble, it was mostly about the places they visited and back stage of the shows. Alot of talking was in this movie. Dissapointing but it was still okay. I hope future Steve-O videos don't let me down because this one did. "The Early Years" is up next so maybe that one will make up for Out On Bail.

Review: The people who rate this poorly because every single shot isn't a crazy stunt are people who really need to evaluate what makes these videos and their ilk so much of a blast to watch.
Is Steve-O a crazy mofo? Of course he is, but is that the only reason he's so much fun to watch? Nah, there's a hundred websites out there filled with videos of idiots doing stunts, most of them screwing up and getting badly hurt (which is a lot more entertaining, in my mind). So why is it that we'd prefer to watch Steve-O instead of those random kids? It's simple, because we LIKE Steve-O. He's a hell of a character, and honestly so are most of the guys he hangs out with. This video is less of a showcase of stunts as it is a bit of a behind the scenes on what it's like to spend a few months with the man himself.
So what makes Out on Bail superior to the rest? Well, for one, the first video (I won't mention the poorly done Tour video) was a collection of more than five years of footage, edited for the best bits. Moreover, it was all comprised of the camera being brought out whenever Steve felt like doing something crazy. It comes across as just a little collection of clips where he's purposefully performing.
By contrast, Out on Bail is a video where the camera was following the crew around, so we get the feeling that what's going on isn't just played up for the camera, that these guys actually live like this. Not to mention that Steve-O and the whole crew are just plain hilarious. I think Ryan Dunn was a standout surprise star from the CKY series, Preston and Wee Man are amusing if not featured too much, Nick Dunlap is a perfect addition to the crew, Liddle and Corolla are mostly around it seems for the rest to play off of. The video plays less like "Hey, I'm gonna do something crazy, pull out the camera" and more of "You aren't gonna guess what I managed to snag on camera", and that's a big difference.
Sure there are some stunts, including the early on scorpion annihilation. We also start to see that Steve-O is absolutely crazy in every sense. Not just that he'll jump off a building (though there is some of that, too), or that he'll staple his sac to his leg (that returns as well), but that just in life he's one of those guys that you need to put a reign on. Not a highlight reel, this is a biography of one of the craziest and most entertaining men in the country and the almost equally self-destructive crew that follows him around.
The additional disc, PCP Saved My Life, may very well be the most haunting video segment I've ever seen. Steve-O himself admits to never seeing the footage and that he refuses to ever do so. It's five days of the man having smoked some (you guessed it) PCP. What follows is him going through a rollercoaster of emotions, and baring his soul in a way that I don't think any of us are ready for.
Anyway, to wrap up this 2AM review, buy this video even if you've got a passing interest in CKY/Jackass/Steve-O. No, it's not chock full of crazy stunts, but it's hilarious, provocative, and will often times make you think "How the HELL are these guys still friends?", laughing all the way.

Review: This 2 disc set DVD was awesome it has the Out Of Bail DVD and PCP Saved My Life DVD they are both funny and great. The stunts were the nastiest. I own all three volumes so far. I hope there is more to come. The nudity in this DVD when i bought it from Borders was uncensored you can see all the nudity no censoring. There probably is a censored version too. I'm pretty sure Steve-O is going to make a vol. 4. A lot of the stunts has to do with s**t. It was real funny though. This is a DVD all Jackass fans even Steve-O fans should own!

Review: This dvd includes more fun with Steve-O. It includes lots of fun, scream-inducing stunts and plenty of interesting characters. We also get some EXCELLENT "R" rated material... if you ever wanted to see Steve-O with an erection you got it! Hopefully Vol 4 will continue the trend... X-rated versions would probably be pretty spectacular!!!

Review: This DVD ROCKS and the best part is you also get a another dvd called PCP saved my life with it and it also ROCKS! It is definatly the best of the three.
