Review: I have been WAITING for this show to be released on DVD. News Radio featured some of the finest comedy writing and ensemble acting ever found on television. I can't wait to have a crisp, clean DVD copy to watch over and over... and over!

Summary: NewsRadio: Another Voice in the Chorus
Review: I am thrilled that the series is finally coming out on disc - and at a very reasonable price to boot! "NewsRadio" wasn't a breakthrough comedy like "Seinfeld" or "The Larry Sanders Show," it was simply one of the funniest sitcoms ever made. The Paul Simms creation started as a smart workplace comedy, then - when numerous clones began cluttering up the prime time schedule - edged further and further into absurdist humor (much like Dave Nelson's beloved "Green Acres," which started off as a simple fish-out-of-water comedy and evolved into something quite surreal). And what a cast! From the first post-pilot episode, when Joe Rogan and Khandi Alexander joined the team, "NewsRadio" became the ultimate "too cool for school" series. I'm already looking forward to the box sets for the other three seasons.

Review: At under 30 bucks for two seasons, this dvd set is a steal! All the office mishaps and even the wacky ones like the Titanic spoof and other spoofs, and the adventures each character goes through... I'm highly anticipating this very underrated but very deserving series DVDs... The first two seasons aren't even out yet and I'm looking forward to the other seasons just as much... Possibily even more anticipated than the latest Simpsons DVDs(my third favorite), but less than my most favorite StargateSG1's 5th season's DVDs..

Review: When I first read that NewsRadio was being released on DVD I couldn't believe it...and I didn't until I got the preorder info from Amazon.com. It was wonderful reading everyone's reviews or should I say previews since the release date isn't until February. Nevertheless, people who truly appreciate genius in comedy most likely appreciate the unique and highly underrated sitcom that so many of us know and love. I remember staying up till 1 o'clock in the morning just to watch the reruns, even though the same episodes were showing the following day; there is nothing like seeing each episode over and over and picking up on more of what made this show so great. To all you fans out there show your support and lets make sure all the seasons (minus the Lovitz season of course)get released in the coming months.

Review: This was an excellent and underated television show. This coming from someone who doesn't like TV. This is The Real Deal with Bill Mcneal.
I look forward to it's release and hope enough copies are sold to warrant the release of the last 3 seasons.

Review: Its not just the Americans who love this show! Here in Australia, we "occasionally" get to see it on Foxtel (a local cable channel). Its true there is a huge fanbase for the "guys" and today Im so excited.Like the reviewer above, lets all lobby hard to Columbia Tri Star to make sute that all seasons come to dvd - Unlike "The Larry Sanders Show" in which has stalled after just the first season release! Review: i am not being the least bit melodramatic when i say that i almost began to cry when i received the email stating that "newsradio" was finally being released on dvd. this has been something that i have waited for with bated breath for many years. every espect and detail of this show is pure and simple genius; with the exception of perhaps "seinfeld," this show [in reruns] was the ONLY reason i had cable. february won't come fast enough.

Review: I'm extremely excited about this release... without a doubt News Radio was my favorite show of the 90s. My sister and I often stayed up late nights to catch the reruns, since we weren't able to watch the show in prime time... it was that good. This is a much-anticipated collection.

Summary: The BEST TV Sitcom Series finally makes it to DVD!
Review: NewsRadio still remains to be my most favorite sitcom to ever appear on television. I wasn't aware of how large the fan base of this show that continues to thrive out there and the release of this DVD series is long overdue. Even though the show was cancelled a few years ago, there has yet to be a show to match the wit and uniqueness that NewsRadio carried throughout its years on television. My only hope is that demand will be high enough to complete the other 3 seasons to DVD in the near future! If you're a NewsRadio fan, this DVD set is for you.
