Summary: Newradio Is Back YEAHHHHH
Review: Well have nothing else to say but Newsradio is the best non-cartoon (simpsons) show ever. Probably if newsradio had more seasons it will be the best show ever. The show was unpredictable, surprising and any of the 8 cast members can and do shine at any given episode. "Daydream" is my favorite episode when A/C is broken and all 8 start having daydreams due through the heat. For all Seinfeld fans I wonder what this episode gonna be about They meet someone weird on the street they date someone weird so predictable. Well Happy new year and can't wait til February hope everyone gets this DVD so they can produce all seasons.

Summary: NEWSRADIO - Finally!!!!! YES !!!!!!
Review: I have tried several times to start to write this review and can't find the right place to start. This is my FAVORITE show of all time. The comedic timing of all of the characters is flawless in every episode. The writing is brilliant and the situations in which the characters find themselves are so perfectly related to what we seen in real life.

This is a wonderful show and I cannot wait for the DVD (oh how I hope that they complete the other seasons on DVD)!

If you enjoyed this show and appealed to its fast-paced writing and verbal exchanges check out a show called "Sportsnight." That too is available on DVD and a great buy.

Thanks.

Summary: Great show
Review: What a great show. Although this show is almost unheard of in the UK, I was able to watch it on cable. The casting is excellent and every single episode made me laugh. Unfortunately The only episodes aired in the UK were from series 1,2 and some of 3.

I just hope that they decide to put the other series on DVD as well. There is nothing worse than only having half a collection.

Summary: FINALLY! FINALLY! FINALLY! FINALLY! FINALLY!
Review: It's been pretty somber around here since A & E decided to bag its NewsRadio reruns in order to air 1000 episodes a day of "Murder, She Wrote," (hrmph!), and leave us all without our NewsRadio fix, but oh boy! Is 2004 going to get off to a great start or WHAT?! We will now have the brilliant Phil Hartman, the best comedic talent of the decade, available to us 24/7! Please do what you can to ensure that Columbia releases the final three seasons on DVD, and we can all throw our scratchy VHS copies away! Have a terrific holiday..."SALUTE!"

Review: An amazing show with an awsome cast. I was disapointed to see it go but I'm absolutely thrilled to be buying it on DVD!

Summary: Best TV comedy of all time!
Review: Newsradio is by far the best comedy to ever hit prime time. Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond and Dharma and Greg can't even compare. The show was always funny, an off-the-wall, original funny that hasn't been matched and probably never will be. It had original characters that have since been copied by more recent shows (Good Morning, Miami anyone?) and storylines that brilliantly portrayed office humor.
The characters especially are one of a kind. From work-aholic Lisa to egotistic Bill to Clueless Mathew, they all were different, hilarious and lovable.
Newsradio set the standard that all comedies should strive for, but sadly few will ever achieve. Now that it is rarely found on TV anymore, it will take its well deserved place in DVD-dom. I'm counting down the days until it comes out and I can watch it whenever I want.
I can't wait until February 3rd. What a great way to start off 2004.

Summary: Funniest workplace comedy since "WKRP"
Review: This show had its uneven moments, but when it worked right and fired on all cylinders it was hands down the sharpest and funniest show on TV!
I can't fawn over this show enough! I attended a taping of an episode in September of 1997. It was the episode where the efficiency expert played by the lovely Lauren Graham decided to give Lisa Miller Dave's job and move Dave out to Lisa's old desk. By this point in the season, Andy Dick's character had been fired and he reverted back to his dental practice. Yes, his dental practice.
Chris Farley was on the set that day, and he and Phil Hartman came up into the audience between set-ups to clown around with us for a while. Sadly, both would pass away in the next few months. Having seen them in person so recently made their passing sting just that much more. NewsRadio never recovered from that -- Jon Lovitz, a very funny man, just wasn't the right fit for the show.

But the fact that this DVD set contains 2 seasons is a blessing on top of a blessing. I don't know anyone who watched this show and didn't just LOVE it, warts and all.

I don't know what kind of extra features will be included with the DVD set, but at this point I really don't care. The episodes by themselves are more than enough to warrant purchase.

Since we will never get "WKRP" on DVD (the music rights are the main hang-up), getting "NewsRadio" is a fine substitute.

Summary: Underrated
Review: I dont think this show ever got the respect it deserved. Great ensemble playing the wacky office staff and some damn great writing. Some laugh out loud stuff and some other very suttle humor.
I still laugh at the reruns when I can find them but seeing them on DVD is great news.
