Summary: I'm out of the closet......and lov'in it
Review: I started watching Gilmore Girls about half way through the first season. Of course as a fortysomething single male, I couldn't tell anyone! But as the years have past, it now seems that the word is out on one of the best written Television shows of all time. The first season is of course the best one. As is the case for most shows. The characters are new and you can't wait to get to know them. The relationship between Lorelai (mom) and Rory (daughter) is so real that you can't help loose yourself in their struggles to make it through what life dishes out. The thing that I have always liked most about the show is it's fairy tale approach. The comedy is always there, the too good to be real hometown, the quirky townspeople it's just a joy, and yet it's real when it needs to be, but never quite being a soap. I can't recomend the DVD enough. I'm planing on talking it with me to the nursing home someday cause it (Gilmore Girls) will stand the test of time. Hope you all enjoy it as much.

Summary: Real life can be scary......
Review: Gilmore GIrls , it is just not some drama that you just watch, but definitely a must have in your private collection. It is a story about Lorelai, a daughter raised by rich parents, started as a "shrewed-up" by society standard yet an examplary character to all level human being. Real life can be scary but she choose over the most challenging and exciting life journey a girl can ever take. And that goes same to Rory, her daughter.
The characters, the script, the town and the stories are just perfect for leisure entertainment that you can watch over and over again.

Review: This show is wonderful! I love the relationship between Rory and Lorelai. And the idea of a small town (Stars Hollow, where they live) where everybody knows you, have a diner where you can eat at everyday, adn basically find a place where you can settle down in. I recommend watching the show and reading the books. (On Ft. Lewis it's on Tuesday at 8:00 PM on the WB, you might wanna check your TV guide for other times). When this DVD boxed set comes out, i promise it will be well- spent!

Review: The show Gilmore Girls is very cool. The characters are so funny and realistic. I love the relationship between Lorelai and Rory and thing the characters all fit into the story. I also love the idea of a small town (Stars Hollow) where everybody knows you, having a diner you can go to everyday, just basically somewhere you can settle down in. If you aren't familiar with the show... well watch it! It comes on every Tuesday (in Washington, I'm on Ft. Lewis) at 8:00 PM on the WB. If you don't live on Ft. Lewis check your TV Guide! I highly recommend you buy this DVD because it is worth teh money!

Review: Season One of Gilmore Girls was absolutely perfection. Amy found the balance between quirky, witty, touching, sad, angry, you name it. The characters, unlike the recent seasons, were not cartoons, but actually believable. This season, by far, has the best episodes as well. Rory's Birthday Parties: utterly and completely perfect. The acting and writing were at its best in this episode. Nothing else compares to the scene when Lorelai recalls Rory's delivery, or when Emily sees Lorelai's room for the first time.Buy the DVD. There's no doubt about it. These episodes are worth the price and then some. But make sure you don't buy as many of the next season. We wouldn't want the WB to waste any of their precious money they now seem to lack so much of on those dreadful Season 3 episodes... or God forbid.. Season 4!

Summary: Great Show Even for Guys
Review: Gilmore Girls is a show full of wit, intelligence, and some of the best writing ever. Even if you're a guy don't dismiss it as a chick flick sorta thing just because it's about two gals. These two are quick, analytical, and never worry about what they eat. They'd be my best friends. The show is never a disappointment. I could watch it every night at eight.

Review: The first season of Gilmore Girls is one of the best. It is sharp and witty. The writing is wonderful. This was the season that was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Drama. It should have won. Apparently it was too funny to get Best Drama. This show is one of the best shows ever. I am very glad that it is being released on DVD. I can't wait to get it!
