Charlie's Angels - The Complete First Season

Summary: Classic 70's T.V.
Review: Three women who went to the poice academy quit their job and go to work for an anonymous millionaire as private investigators. One thing that always bothered me was Charlie kept his identity secret from the angels for their own protection because he has so many enemies, but every week he would be canoodling with a different floozy (or floozies), now why isn't he concerned for the floozies safety or that they will reveal his identity? So anyway the girls that work for him are Kelly (Jaclyn Smith) Beautiful and street smart, Jill (Farrah Fawcett), the sexy/athletic all american girl. Oh and Sabrina (Kate Jackson) the plain/smart one, just kidding Sabrinas OK, i didn't like her cause she seemed uptight. Anyway the cases the angels worked on usually involved murders, going undercover, car chases and gunfights.One thing that always shone through was a genuine friendship between the angels and they always supported each other. As 70's shows go this one will always have a special place in my heart. EP

Review: Watching these old shows is a huge treat. Cell phone suitcases, computers with blinking lights, bell bottoms, fast cars, Farrah Fawcett...she even looks great in an Army uniform.

The shows are classic "who dunnit's". If you are a fan of Scooby Doo, the Hardy Boys, the Rockford Files, etc...you'll love these.

They could have used a better technical expert on the set back then. These ladies are terribly unsafe with their firearms. Guess nobody told them you are supposed to keep your finger OFF the trigger until ready to fire.

If you like Charlie's Angels, or pop culture of the 70's in general, this is a must have collection.

Review: This is a great DVD. It really shows how much the original Angels complimented each other. Farrah was and still is my favorite Angel. I hope they release Season three and four also where she guest starred. Being a Charlies' Angels collector, I highly recommend this DVD. Farrah Forever!!!!!

Review: Fans of 1970s tv won't want to miss this great DVD of the campy series. Or perhaps not so campy; critics may have dismissed this is a "jiggle show" but it was one of the first to show strong female characters in an era when women were largely fluff on television. Angels Forever!

Review: WHAT WE HAVE HERE IS A TRIP BACK TO 70'S TELEVISION.I PICKED THIS UP MORE FOR NOSTALGIA THAN ANYTHING ELSE.WELL I MUST ADMIT I AM VERY PLEASED WITH MY PURCHASE OF SEASON 1.THE PICTURE AND SOUND ARE CLEAR AND CRISP AND BETTER THAN WHAT I REMEMBER WATCHING ON TV.IN THIS BOXED SET YOU GET THE ORIGINAL PILOT EPISODE PLUS ALL 22 REMAINING SEASON 1 EPISODES.I ALWAYS THOUGHT SABRINA WAS HOT,JUST SOMETHING ABOUT HER.I DON'T MIND THE PACKAGING AND HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE DISC'S.THERE REALLY ISN'T MUCH IN THE WAY OF BONUS FEATURES.THEY SHOULD HAVE APPROACHED THE ORIGINAL ANGELS AND HAD THEM DO INTERVIEWS OR COMMENTARIES FOR THE SET.EVEN A WHERE ARE THEY NOW FEATURE WOULD BE NICE.THESE ARE THE ONLY CHARLIE'S ANGELS FOR ME NOW AND FOREVER.IF YOU WAN'T GOOD CLEAN FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT PICK UP YOUR SET TODAY.
