Rating: Summary: Roswell is done so well! Review: Most of the series on television today can be easily catorgorized. We have our comedies, thrillers, science fiction, and our dramas. But every now and then there comes along a show that transends more than one boundry. A show that is unique and memorable no matter how long(or short!) it's TV run. Roswell is such a show.
Part teen-angst, and part sci-fi, the show immeadiately sucks you in. It has a everything that a show should have. It's got (1)memorable characters, (2) great special effects, and (3) great writers. All in all a great show.
When the show came out in 2000 I watched most of season one. But I never got to see it all. And never ended up watching any of season 2. But the show stayed with me. It was like a "90210" drama but avoided all of the campy feel most teen shows have. Yes this show can draw you in no matter what age you are. And when it came out on DVD I figured I take a chance on the show I didn't really remember too much of. I am very happy that I did.
So do yourself a favor and go out and purchase it today!
PS I do have one complaint I would like to voice to all reviewers and a note to Amazon.com too. I have never seen seasons 2 or 3. So you can imagine my horror when I read some of the reviews for the second season. A big "thanks a lot!" to the 2 reviewers who spoiled some important aspects of season 2 for me. I'm sure other people would agree with me. When we read a review we want to hear how cool or not it is. Nobody wants to read stuff that spoil the surprises for them. So if you are planning on writing a review, please remember not everyone has seen the show so don't give away the plot! Thanks!
