Rating: Summary: Must Have for Little House In The Prarie Shows Review: Little House is a one of a kind show.Where tv said sex, violence, disfunction and inmorality, this show went the exact opposite of the spectrum..and succeeded. It's perfection!
Rating: Summary: Great release! Review: No need to be a huge fan of the show to enjoy this box set. Little House on the Prairie is part of our history. I didn't buy the previous DVD released last year, because there was a selection of a few episodes only. But this complete set is a must! The box is wonderful. And the picture quality is much much better than what we are used to watch on TV. Highly recommended...

Rating: Summary: Great family entertainment!!! Review: Our family loves the shows. We have seen the first three season and are watching season 4. Not that we are experts, but none of us have noticed any problems with the cinematography as previously mentioned. It is great to see the example of a family that is NOT disfunctional -- it is something we need more of. I find these shows vastly superior to the majority of shows currently on TV and I highly recommend them.
Rating: Summary: Just to have these on DVD at all deserves 5 stars! Review: Plenty of people have already reviewed these DVD's complaining about the sound quality and other related gripes that are probably valid. However, I can't give this series any less than 5 stars simply because I'm so thrilled to have them available at last! Rather than reminisce about my vicarious childhood in Walnut Grove (which no one cares to hear), here are the episodes of Season Two, in case anyone wants to know exactly what they'll be buying. These episodes were first aired from September 10, 1975 to March 31, 1976. The Richest Man in Walnut Grove Four Eyes Haunted House In the Big Inning The Campout The Spring Dance Remember Me, Parts 1 & 2 Ebenezer Sprague At the End of the Rainbow The Gift His Father's Son The Talking Machine The Pride of Walnut Grove A Matter of Faith The Runaway Caboose Troublemaker The Long Road Home For My Lady Centennial Soldier's Return Going Home

Rating: Summary: A must buy for the Little House fan! Review: The DVD sets are excellent. They are the best of all of the shows that have been released by other companies. I can not wait for the rest of the seasons to be released. The credits are available at the start of each show when chosen individually!
Rating: Summary: Great show... bad sound Review: There is no denying how great this wonderful series was. The show itself deserves 5 stars. However, I wish they had done a better job of remastering the audio before putting it on DVD. The audio is a bit muffled (though not beyond comprehension). Another shortcoming is that there are no subtitles available. This show deserved nothing less than the best presentation possible, and these two items are an unfortunate blemish on the product. Still, it's a GREAT show and very much worth my money. My family will enjoy it for many, many years.
Rating: Summary: Little House Seasons 1 - 4 Review: These series are great. I bought series 2 first, and like it so much I bought series 1, and then 3 and 4. It has been a long time since family entertainment was available as experienced in this series. I would recommend them to anyone young and old. When nothing is on T.V. we pop in a Little House and have enjoyed them everytime.
