Summary: Much better than MTV
Review: This is the real heart and soul of The Osbournes which is 100% better than the MTV censored version. I wasn't a big fan of The Osbournes until the second season, but I got the DVD anyway and laughed until I cried. With all the sadness going on in the world today, it's great to get a good laugh and see what family values are all about. I can't wait until the second season comes out in DVD.

Summary: ... Hilarious. Well worth the [Money]
Review: If you are looking for a good laugh and like the Osbournes this is the DVD beyond all DVD's. It is hysterical beyond belief with TONS of bonus footage never before seen. Interactive games and fun for the whole family. Well worth the money. You can't put a price on side splitting laughter. BUY IT!

Summary: Mad Dogs and Englishmen...(And Women)...
Review: ...I always did think that Growing Pains and the Cosby Show was a bit over saccharine.

The inside look at what happens at home after the road shows--you would have thought that the Metal Man had more control at His Castle. Or at least, groupies and rabid. Not so. It's a family show, but everyone feels free to spit out every expletive in the book. And control? Fergit it. In fact a hilarious episode where the Oz Man tries to get wood and permits for a beach fire shows that often he is more befuddled and frustrated than Desi Arnez in I Love Lucy ever was (at the end of the episode, he moons the fire--to get his arse warm? Or is he totally outta it?) and he barely functions without Sharon's wheeling and dealing from under her comforter in bed. Ozzy obsesses over burritos and working out to videos most of the time. And every now and then he has Dad-Daughter run-ins with an mega explosive Kelly...Kelly's trying to become a superstar, yet still wanting to still be a teenager--throwing tantrums, getting silly, stumbling high at clubs and coming in home late, late at night. And Jack, well he's a smart nerd who's now become hip because of the MTV cameras rolling over his shoulders. I'm a voyeur. So what? Most time Oz's family life kinda reminds me of my own. That's why I dig watching 'The Osbournes..'

Summary: Stands Alone, Even if You've Never Heard Ozzy's Music
Review: Okay loveys...

I had never heard a single song Ozzy Osbourne sang before I saw this series (and frankly have still only heard the selections they have played on the show). So what?

I thoroughly enjoy this series and have pre-ordered the dvd set. Finally a reality program that is interesting and shows a real family. Yes, there are some unorthodox moments, but the bottom line is they really love each other and make the viewer feel as if he/she is laughing WITH them, not at them...

Summary: Censored? Who would want censored?
Review: I admit I hate cursing as much as the next Christian but I am a big fan of this show and I hate that infernal bleeping. If they were to change the way the show was edited like having a silent bleep that would be a lot better but the BLEEP noise gets on your nerves after awhile, so my suggestion to you is if you don't want your little kiddies to see the uncensored (they're going to find a way anyway) get this one but if you need some entertainment w/out the kids, get the uncut version, which is the way the directors intended the shows to be seen and heard.

Summary: DVD's will never be the same again!
Review: Sharoooooooooon! Where are my *%$*# slippers? That's what you will hear the lovable Ozzy say, only, the words that I censored, wont be censored.
This is the UNcensored edition, and its a giant understatement to say that if you are expecting a "Leave it to Beaver" type of show, well...this show will curl your toes.
The curses will fly in your living room, as you invite the Osbourne's to your house forever, on DVD.
This isnt a wholesome family show, but I think that's exactly why so many people enjoy The Osbournes. They are different. And they are alot more like The American household, than we care to admit. lol
Ozzy Osbourne, Rock legend turned Ward Cleaver (NOT) is simply hilarious in this show. He tries so hard to keep the peace, but things just always seem to be out of his control.
He always has to clean up the messes, he always has to listen to the kids yell at him, and he maintains a sense of humor throughout. Add the interesting personalities of wife, Sharon, and Kids, Kelly, and Jack, and you have something that is unlike anything that you have ever seen.
So, put the kids to bed, get comfortable, pop in this DVD and after you are done enjoying this DVD you will realize that you and your family arent as screwed up as you thought you were. LOL
The Osbourne's will make your problems seem normal, in comparison.
Enjoy the DVD!

Summary: A touching and caring family, so full of love
Review: I can't tell you how much I love to watch the Osbournes. To watch such a simple and humble family going through there quiet and ordinary life, what a treat!

I've learned so much from Ozzy. His simple, down-home advice is so clear and compelling. And boy, Sharon sure knows how to run a house! I've tried a lot of her recipes and they are down right yummy! And her handy household tips are a must for any homemaker.

And what great kids! Honor roll, focused on college, and so helpful around the house. Man, I wish my kids were more like that. And I believe the daughter sings inspirational songs for kids.

I think that just about any family could learn something from sitting down and watching the Osbournes. Like how to enjoy the simple pleasures of an ordinary life with family and friends.

Summary: A disgrace to Ozzy's legacy
Review: First off I want to say that for years I was a hardcore Ozzy fan, since before I even hit my teens to me he was the definition of heavy metal. It wasn't even that long ago that I remember if you said you liked Ozzy people would look at you in disgust and say things like "eww, that guy who bit the head off a bat?". How times have changed. Now, Ozzy is a hot commodity, and here is MTV to milk it for all it's worth. When reality shows were all the rage (it seems like that was forever ago doesn't it?), MTV made a reality show out of Ozzy and his wife Sharon and kids Kelly and Jack (note that Ozzy also has an older daughter with Sharon, whose name I cannot recall, that wanted nothing to do with this godforsaken show) that is obviously staged, totally unfunny (now and then it has its moments), and mindnumbingly painful to watch. Any true fan of Ozzy will find it painful to watch the godfather of heavy metal stumble around and ramble incoherently, and while I don't blame Ozzy for doing nothing less than selling out (remember, wife Sharon is also his manager), after watching this you'll long for the days of old when Ozzy's fans were really his fans, and not just trendy bandwagon jumpers. The show's new season debuted with dismal ratings, so hopefully it won't be on for much longer, one can only hope.

Summary: No Thanks
Review: I can't understand how anyone can enjoy this. Any true Ozzy fan wouldn't have anything to do with this. This show is a disgrace to his legacy. The man has been used. He was the prince of Heavy Metal, now he's a doddering old codger. I would much prefer my memory of Ozzy's legacy not include this goofy show. The only reason I will waste my money on his upcoming album is Zakk, that's all. I hope Sharon enjoy's [...] him out to the media. As far as she's concerned, I hope she gets what's coming to her.
