Review: I FIRST SAW THIS NANCY SINATRA SHOW WHEN I WAS 15. 33 YEARSBETWEEN VIEWINGS IS A LONG TIME TO WAIT, BUT WELL WORTH IT . NANCY ISGREAT TO BE SURE. THE CONCEPT, THE MUSIC, THE GENTLE SLIDE BACK IN TIME. IT ALL WORKS PERFECTLY. THANKS NANCY, FOR LETTING US REMEMBER. DON'T FORGET TO CHECK OUT THE VERY START,NANCY AND HER '57 T-BIRD!

Summary: YOU WILL WANT TO MOVE ON INTO THE SIXTIES WHEN YOU SEE THIS!
Review: I HAD THE PLEASURE OF SEEING THIS SHOW ACTUALLY ON DVD. IT BELONGS TO A FRIEND OF MINE. I WANT TO OWN THIS. IT'S A WONDERFUL SPECIAL THAT CAME OUT IN 1967. I HAD WONDERED ABOUT THE DATE. LOOKING AT THE CLOTHES I GUESSED ABOUT 1968. ANYWAY, WONDERFUL MUSIC, THE FILMING WAS GREAT! MY COMPLIMENTS TO THE CINEMATOGRAPHER! THE CLOTHES, BY THE WAY, ARE BY "JAX", NO LONGER ALIVE, BUT HAD A WONDERFUL CLOTHING STORE IN THE 1950'S AND 1960'S. (EVEN MARILYN MONROE WORE HIS CLOTHES!) IT'S JUST A WONDERFUL TRIP BACK INTO THAT ERA, AND EVEN NANCY'S CAR MATCHED HER GLOVES IN THE BEGINNING SHOT! WE EMAILED HER SEVERAL YEARS AGO, IN JUNE OF 2000,AFTER WATCHING THIS. WE GOT AN EMAIL BACK FROM HER PERSONAL ASSISTANT. NO, SHE NO LONGER HAS THE CAR (DARN!) AND IF YOU LOOK REAL CLOSE, YOU WILL SEE THAT THE TUNNEL SHE GOES THROUGH IN ONE SCENE AND COMES OUT OF IS THE SAME TUNNEL THAT DUSTIN HOFFMAN GOES THROUGH IN THE MOVIE "THE GRADUATE". HEY WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT IT, THEY WERE FILMED ABOUT THE SAME YEAR OR SO!!!! WE TOLD THEM THAT ABOUT THE TUNNEL ALSO, AND THEY TOLD US THAT NANCY AND DUSTIN HAD BEEN STAYING IN THE SAME HOTEL (SEPARATELY OF COURSE) BACK IN 2000. I WAS ALSO INTERESTED ABOUT "JAX", AND HIS NAME IS "JACKSON", AND IN THE 60'S, HE OUTFITTED ALOT OF DANCERS IN SHOWS TOO. HIS STUFF WAS REALLY SOMETHING! WISH I HAD SOME OF HIS CLOTHES. HE RAN A BOUTIQUE, PROBABLY IN THE LA OR HOLLYWOOD SECTION. ANYHOW, THIS IS MY TAKE ON THIS FASCINATING PIECE OF MUSICAL/FASHION HISTORY.

Summary: REVIEW OF "MOVING WITH NANCY"
Review: I just got through watching it on the AMC channel and it brought back so many WONDERFUL memories. I have her "These Boots are Make for Walking" album and I use to play it all the time and sing to it, pretending I was her! It brought back times that were really special to me and I loved the duos that she did with Dean, Sammy and of course her Father. Please Nancy, do another special soon, we all miss your singing! Summary: Way too Groovy Baby!
Review: I loved it! Seeing Nancy, Lee Hazelwood and especially Dean Martin! This video brought back a lot of memories for me. I hope that there will be more videos of this type on the way, especially from my favorite, Dean Martin! I was kind of disappointed that Frank and Nancy didnt sing their big hit, Something's Stupid; but that song must have came out months after the old NBC Special! Again, I loved this video very much and would have given it a 5 if Sammy Davis Jr. had performed a song instead of clicking pictures of Nancy.

Review: I purely enjoyed this 1-hour Nancy Sinatra special from 1967. Lots of great songs, including one by guest Frank Sinatra!
The behind-the-scenes "home movies" segment at the end of the program was nice also (with 2000 voice-over narration by Nancy and the special's director).
I also enjoyed seeing the Art Linkletter introductory piece at the start of the program -- plus all the original RC-Cola commercials (including one done by Nancy herself)! Very elaborately-done commercial spots.
Best song and best video for that song, in my opinion, goes to Nancy and Lee Hazlewood's duet "Jackson", which ends with a short clip with Nancy's brother, Frank Jr.
This is a "must-see" for fans of Nancy or Frank or if you simply want to immerse yourself in the 1960s again!

Man, RC must have had a fairly large budget for its commercial spots in the 1960's, based on the elaborate settings and locales in the ads on this video/DVD! Best song and best video for that song, in my opinion, goes to Nancy's & Lee Hazelwood's duet "Jackson", which ends with a short clip with Nancy's brother! This is a "must-see" for fans of Nancy or Frank or if you simply want to immerse yourself into the 1960's again!

Review: I totally disagree with MUSIC FAN FROM PENNSYLVANIA USA. I think the RC Cola ads are the best part of this video. Its the rest that gets a bit on your nerves.

Summary: Great stuff...but I wish it MOVED more!
Review: In a colorful but idle sequence with Sammy Davis, Jr., our Nance is surrounded by whirling lights, a hot song and Sammy shaking his groove thing, but Nancy herself looks uneasy. I blame this on director Jack Hayley, Jr., who combines frenetic set-ups with his sleepy pacing. The songs are great, Nancy looks terrific, her bit with father Frank is warm, but I wanted this hot chick to slip into high gear. "Movin'" doesn't cook, but it does simmer nicely.

Review: Innovative and definately ahead of it's time MOVIN'WITH NANCY truly deserves the title "special". Her hairstyle and clothing are the only real clues that it is from 1967. It could as easily have been made this year for VH1. It is fitting that part of the WHO WILL BUY number is staged on a roller coaster. This program takes you on a roller coaster ride of dizzying emotions. There is comedy, drama, and pathos. FRIDAY'S CHILD in my opinion is the best,set against a stark, somewhat disturbing backdrop. It packs a wallop. Nancy wisely dropped backing vocals that were present on the single. The effect is staggering. She totally sells the song, except for the "born a little ugly" line. The woman is gorgeous. This is a must have for Nancy Sinatra fans, and has something to offer for music fans in general. I do believe it will be "Movin'" right off the shelves, so act now!
