Summary: this is the best DVD series ever
Review: This show is something else. I mean, the show has Hank Hill, the good ol' boy, Peggy, the egotistical teacher, and Bobby, a boy that can't seem to fit in, because of his father's discomfort with life itself. I love this show. Too bad the announcement with the third DVD isn't out yet. I can't wait to see what happens in it. Mike Judge, you're the greatest. Just kidding. :)

Review: TVShowsondvd.com reports that King of the Hill season 3 should come to DVD in November or December of 2004. So that means that you can buy season 2 and rest assured that you *will* get to find out what happened after the season-ending cliffhanger.This show will never have the niche cult appeal that allowed the mediocre Family Guy to sell so many DVDs; nor does it have the broad appeal of The Simpsons. But for people who like a show that gets laughs through characterization and observation, this is the best of the Fox animated shows. You don't have to be from Texas to like it; you just have to have known and liked a guy like Hank Hill: an old-fashioned guy struggling with a new-fangled world. If you liked Mike Judge's Office Space, or other movies and shows about one man facing everyday annoyances in this crazy world, you'll like this show. Or maybe even love it.

Review: You could pay me-but I still wouldnt spend my money on this show! how could anyone here think this is the best show ever-hank is boring and way to much in love with his stupid propane-like just marry it alreadly! and peggy-well shes just a pain-bobby hill-who is very much like a human pig-and louanne-well lets just say shes a few shots short of a martini maker! dale,bill and boomhuare are alright-at least they arnt as boring as hank-and hanks freak outs and that stupid scream thing he does gets a little annoying! so dont waste my time telling me I should buy this on dvd-when on tv when im channel surfing I watch some of king of the hill then flip the channel again!

WHEN IT IS RELEASED, I WILL REVIEW THE SET IN ITS ENTIRETY.] In 1997, cartoonist Mike Judge, best known for his controversial Beavis and Butt-Head series, created a new series for Fox - King Of The Hill. The show tells the story of Hank Hill, who sells propane and propane accessories (and has little life outside propane,) his wife Peggy, a substitute Spanish teacher who is very weird and has a high opinion of herself, and Bobby, their very bizzare son who has hopes of becoming a prop comic. To quote Hank, "that boy ain't right." The series became an enormous success overnight. It was so successful, that Judge ended work on Beavis and Butt-Head to work on this series, and this series alone. To this day the series remains extremely popular and shows no signs of letting down. The first season was where it all began. The animation was crude and the voices weren't dead on, but it was still a damn funny show. Read on for episode summaries. How to Fire a Rifle Without Really Trying - Hank takes Bobby to a shooting range, and is shocked to discover that Bobby is an excellent shooter. Texas City Twister - A tornado is apporaching Arlen. Hank must rush to a trailer park to save Peggy, while Dale and Boomhauer set out to get tornado footage on film. Arrow Head - A college professor begins digging up the Hill yard for artifacts. This greatly angers Hank, because the professor has almost complete control of Peggy. Hilloween - A religion activist has Halloween banned. Hank and the guys set out to save the holiday. Jumpin' Crack Bass - Hank buys fishing bait from a man, and uses it with enormous success. He is soon arrested, and is shocked to discover the bate is actually crack. Husky Bobby - Bobby becomes a model for a line of fat kid clothing. Hank is opposed to this idea from the start. The Man Who Shot Kane Skretteberg - Hank and the guys challenge a noisy garage band to a paintball match. If the guys win, they get the band's amplifier. If the band wins, they get Bill's leaf blower. The Son That Got Away - Bobby, Connie, and Joseph run away after being punished in school. They go into a series of unsafe caves and get lost. The Company Man - Hank must go to extremes to please a potential propane customer. Bobby Slam - The school allows girls to wrestle, and the big upcoming match is Bobby versus Connie. The Unbearable Blindness of Laying - Hank sees his mother making out with her new boyfriend, and becomes temporarily blinded by the horrible sight. Meet the Manger Babies - Luanne finds herself depressed. Hank buys her puppets at a yard sale, and she uses them to put on a puppet show, which Nancy puts on TV. Hank must decide between playing the part of God in it, or watching the Super Bowl. Snow Job - When Mr. Strickland suffers a heart attack, he assigns Hank to walk his dogs while he is out. I Remember Mono - Peggy discovers the story Hank has been reciting about their relationship is a lie. Three Days of the Khando - The Hills and Kahn's family go to Mexico. They are accused of a crime and are forced to flee the country illegally. Traffic Jam - Hank and Kahn back into each other, and are forced to attend comedy traffic school. Hank's Dirty Laundry - Hank's credit rating hits an all time low, because Arlen Video says Hank has a $40 debt for video tapes he claims he never rented. The Final Shinsult - When Cotton can't get a drivers license, he holds Santa Ana's leg hostage. He demands a drivers license, or he will never give it back. Leanne's Saga - Luanne's mother is finally released from prison, and begins to go out with Bill. Before long, she begins resuming her old habits that brought her to jail in the first place. Junkie Business - When Hank discovers he can't fire a drug addict now working at Strickland Propane, he tries to think of other ways to get rid of him. Life in the Fast Lane, Bobby's Saga - Bobby gets a job at a race track serving food to the audience. Unfortunately, his boss has brain damage and works him very hard. Peggy's Turtle Song - To fill spare time, Peggy begins to take guitar lessons. Propane Boom (Part 1) - Hank is forced to work at Mega Lo Mart when they start carrying propane and run Strickland Propane out of business. During a benefit concert, the Mega Lo Mart explodes. The story is continued in the Season Three Premier. And thus concludes the second season. When this DVD comes out I'm gonna get a copy fast. Fellow King Of The Hill fans, I suggest you do the same.
