Summary: Last of the truly great friends seasons
Review: The fifth season which aired in 1998 - 1999 is truly the last funniest seasons before the cast got too "30- something." It is the last season in which the dynamic within the cast is funny and enthusiastic. It seems the season that follow the 5th season are too underdeveloped and the jokes aim to the lowest common factor. Buy this season, and consider your friends collection complete. Watching the remaining seasons is like watching paint dry

Summary: Before the great drop
Review: This is the last really good season of Friends, after number 5 they seem to start to get down (after the peak of season 4), hitting a all time low in Seasons 7 (The one with the Armardillo) and Season 8(The awful Helloween party).
In number 5 Chandler stops being sarcastic and funny, you no longer laugh with him but at him.
But the season has it's great moments, Ross's chase after Emily (and the "insanity" that follows) , Joey Covering Monica and Chandler, Phoebe dating Michael Rappaport, and ending with great Vegas episodes...

Review: I give it a star comparatively to other sitcoms. I have seen other sitcoms which are far better and funnier than the Friends. This should be categorized as soap opera instead of comedy. No punch lines, jokes are flat and pretentious. 'if' laugh track can be turned off separately, the episodes fall short of being a comedy. Laugh tracks put in there are just to induce viewers to laugh.

Review: I am a huge fan of Friends. This DVD is by far the best. I have the first four seasons on DVD, 5 books, the Friends trivia in a tin game, the first soundtrack, and a Friends mug with the picture of them linking thier arms together and sipping wine. This is the DVD for all Friends fanatics. This is defintely a DVD to add to your Friends collection. I can't wait till the sixth season comes out on DVD!!!

Review: Season Five of "Friends" is one of the best seasons in the whole ten years they have been on the air. While they never fail to make their audiences laugh, Season Five has so many of the hilarious moments- from "The One With All The Thanksgivings" to "The One Where Everyone Finds Out" to the unforgettable Vegas trip, if you are only going to buy one season- make this it!

Review: The fifth season of friedns is by far my favorite season of friends!!! The season starts out with Chandler and Monica hiding their relationship from their friends and ending up at the altar in Vegas, Ross saying Rachel's name at his wedding and later getting a bitter divorce.Pheobe gives birth to her brothers three precious triplets and dates Gary the cop. Rachel confesses her love for Ross adn later dates brefly dates Danny. Joey gets his "Big Break" when he gets lead role in a movie, and in the Season finale Ross and Rachel end up married in Vegas! This is a season you dont want to miss!!!

Review: I never miss an episode of FRIENDS! I already own the first 4 season and the best of Friends. When there is nothing on TV (which is alot) I pop in a DVD and laugh away. I even got my husband into the show, he asks each Thursday night what happened. I am really excited about this new released DVD. Thank you AMAZON.com for making it affordable. Keep the laughs coming.

Review: I grew up watching friends with my sister so when she went off to college i guess i just felt empty without the show. it is so funny and every episode makes you laugh. even tho they're going to end their series in 04, ill always remember the show

Review: What can I say? Can't wait until they are released... Another season of friends, another season of laughing... If you don't like laughing and are not open minded, then this is not for you. Oh, and i forgot, a great price for the new season!!! (If you liked seasons 1-4, then you'll love this one...)

Review: what can you say about people that don't like shows that make you laugh? how depressing! Friends makes you laugh and they are crazy. these box sets add even more fun to the already histerical episodes. I enjoy them and I hope that others will too
